Beginning Guitar
Have you always wanted to learn to play the guitar and play music by the campfire
while toasting marshmallows? Do you want to be an accompanist for singers and
vocalists? Pick up that guitar for the first time and begin learning how to play songs.
We will use the guitar as an instrument to learn basic music theory, chords, scales,
strumming and much more. We will explore the commonality and differences between
the guitar and other musical instruments. We will also learn to play solo and duets.

Become a Notary Public
Start your own business or add to your current business working as a Notary Public. As a public servant commissioned by the
Secretary of State, the Notary Public protects the integrity of legal and personal documents. This course will teach you everything
you need to know to pass the state notary exam and be a successful Notary Public. Must be a California resident, complete this
course, pass a notary exam and pass a background check.

                                              money order payable to “Secretary of State,” a legal form of I.D.,

Make Money as a Loan Signing Agent

This course is an introduction to early childhood education,
including an overview of the history of the field , evolution
of professional practices and ethics, educational principles that
support child development from birth through the school-age
years, and teaching practices based on observation, documentation,
and interpretation of children’s behavior.

Child Development
This course examines the major physical, psychosocial, and cognitive/language
developmental milestones for children, both typical and atypical, from conception to
adolescence. There will be an emphasis on interactions between maturation processes and
environmental factors. While studying developmental theory and investigative research
methodologies, students will observe children, evaluate individual differences and analyze
characteristics of development at various stages.

Finish Your High School Diploma
The High School Diploma Program is designed for adult students
to earn the necessary credits to earn their High School Diploma.
Your teacher will help you develop an Individualized Learning
Plan, set goals, and provide learning support as you work at your
pace to complete the credits. Students can access course materials
via a Learning Management System anytime, and anywhere
there is internet access. Teacher/class time is available M-F on
campus, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings as
well. On campus, students have access to computers, materials
and individualized instruction. Upon completion of EGUSD
graduation requirements, students will receive a California high
school diploma.
