WELCOME TO THE 27TH ANNUAL NIRSA SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIPS Welcome to the 27th Annual NIRSA National Soccer Championships. City of Foley will serve as the host. Play will be at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex, 850 E Pride Blvd., Foley, Alabama. The three-day competitive format has 48 men’s, 48 women’s teams competing in four divisions. Teams will compete in pool play, followed by a single elimination tournament to crown the eventual champions. We are thrilled to be back in Foley, Alabama after last year’s competition cancellations due to the pandemic. We know that the pandemic caused many changes—including how your club was able to interact, practice, and play last year. We applaud your perseverance and grit as we get back on the fields this year and engage in the level of competition that inspires your best performances. Over the years, the NIRSA Championship Series National Soccer Tournament has become synonymous with high-level competition and the development of young professionals through hands-on engagement. Our incredible officials and tournament staff enrich the tournament experience for all participants. This tournament wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the commitment and excitement of the staff, officials, and NIRSA Championship Series volunteers. All of them are dedicated to creating an experience that allows individuals and teams to enjoy great competition and make lifelong memories. Take a minute to thank those who have worked tirelessly to plan and execute this tournament.
