The party themed on the M*A*S*H movie and TV series was a tie-back to the Presidents’ Run to Whistler and Lillooet in 1991. An army camp with all the gear was set up at the Newby’s, with period military vehicles, tents, and even a loud speaker system broadcasting M*A*S*H announcements. Participants were issued a jacket, hat and a dog tag, joining characters from the film and television program [ Lt. BC COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY RUN WITH BC & WASHINGTON CLUBS [Event Information provided by Tim Horton. Photos by Tim Horton unless otherwise indicated] T his third annual joint event with the Jaguar Drivers & Restorers Northwest America (Seattle) Club and the MG Car Club Northwest Centre (Seattle) took place Saturday, July 13 as part of the BC Collector Car Appreciation Day. It was organized by Tim Horton (CXKJR/CCMGC), and Kurt Jacobson (JDRC), with CXKJR/CCMGC participants re-assembled at the 45 club members and 25 cars taking part.
