TIER 3 (VERY HIGH ALERT) RESTRICTIONS Government guidance on Tier 3 restrictions has been updated. Please click here for more information regarding what you can and cannot do in a Tier 3 area. TIER 3 Restrictions Overview MEETING FAMILY & FRIENDS • You must not meet socially indoors with anybody you do not live with or have a support bubble with • The rule of six applies in all public outdoor spaces (including children of any age) HOTELS & HOSPITALITY • All hotels and hospitality settings, such as bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and social clubs, hotels and hospitality venues must close except for takeaway, delivery and click and collect services. This includes restaurants and bars within hotels or member’s clubs. ENTERTAINMENT • All indoor entertainment venues must close, including cinemas, theatres and casinos RETAIL • Non-essential retail (including beauty salons, gyms & hairdressers) can remain open TRAVEL • You should avoid travelling outside your area and reduce the number of journeys you make wherever possible.

Join our new consumer initiative - Art of London Art of London, is an integrated campaign that will bring to life Heart of London's "Cultural Heart of London" strategy. The Augmented Gallery Launching in 2021 (Postponed from 2020) The Augmented Gallery is a cutting-edge public art initiative by Heart of London Business Alliance, in partnership with National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Royal Academy of Arts and broadcast partner Sky Arts. It showcases paintings from leading institutions including National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Royal Academy and Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year, through an accessible augmented reality app, providing a fascinating curation of each masterpiece and a collectible trail of digital art that can be enjoyed safely outdoors. The trail of gallery style plaques, each joined by Art of London stencil markers, appears on walls spread around the West End, from Piccadilly Circus to Cecil Court, St. Martin’s Lane to Orange Street.

Lobbying and Advocacy Priorities As we continue to respond to Government announcements and updates on Covid-19, our priorities are to ensure a safe and successful Christmas trading period. Our key asks include: ➢ Clarity on the Government’s road to recovery and what the restrictions mean for central London ➢ Removal of the curfew ➢ Extended trading hours on Sundays ➢ Change the formula for the discretionary grant ➢ Introduce incentives to help bring visitors back to the West End ➢ Continued sectoral support for businesses ➢ Maintain funding to market London domestically and internationally, as a world-class global destination We are also hosting sector specific roundtable discussions to better understand members needs and how best to support our members. Supporting the Homeless this Winter We remain committed to tackling Homelessness as a key priority issue and are continuing to work closely with Westminster City Council (WCC) and our outreach Charity partner, The Connection at St Martin's in the Field throughout this Winter period. Our commitments include: ➢ Enrolling our front-line services (including Security, Cleaning & City Inspector teams) to help report vulnerable people onto StreetLink ➢ Daily contact with The Connection - working closely with them to help thousands of people move off the streets and into temporary accommodation. ➢ Supporting local Christmas Campaigns and volunteering opportunitiesincluding The Connection's 'A First Christmas At Home' campaign ➢ Working with WCC to help identify the vulnerable & support them with their Serious Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) during inclement weather periods. ➢ Continuing to support WCC's Hidden Network Campaign to help people off the streets ➢ Working with the GLA & TAP London in the Mayor of London's 2020 Winter Homelessness campaign.
