Page 3 Program Cancellation The Tuscany Residents Association (TRA) greatly values your business! For this reason, we have designed our cancellation policy to better suit the needs of our valued customers. No exceptions will be made to the policy outlined below. Please review carefully. 1. TRA CANCELLATION DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT The TRA may need to cancel programs with insufficient registration or due to instructor availability. Should this occur, participants may choose from the following options: A) Transfer to another program where space is still available. B) Receive an account credit on the household TRA account. C) Receive a cheque for the full amount of the program, which will be available for pick up within 2-4 weeks after the class cancellation. Should a class be cancelled, you will be notified by phone or email no later than two days prior to the commence- ment of the class and will be asked to select one of these three options at this time. 2. WITHDRAWAL/TRANSFER REQUESTS All program withdrawals/transfer requests must be made in writing to the Recreation Manager at recreation@tuscanyclub.ca For your convenience and flexibility, a refund will be issued should the withdrawal request be sent 14 or more days before the program start date in the form of account credit or cheque, less a $15 administration fee. • Requests to withdraw from a program less than 14 days prior to the first day of program will be charged a 25% program fee and a $15 administration fee will apply. • After two classes into the program, refunds will be issued for medical reasons only and a doctor’s note may be required. A pro-rated refund will be issued and the $15 administration fee will apply. • Refunds will not be issued to participants who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes for seasonal/ outdoor programs. • Failure to attend a class does not cancel the enrollment and refunds will not be issued. • Refunds of $25 or less will only be credited to the household TRA account. • NSF cheques are subject to an additional $50 fee. Important Member & Guest Access Information Coming for a visit or attending a program? All residents aged 12+ must have their membership card to gain access to any of the TRA indoor or outdoor facilities or sign out gym equipment. Your membership is automatically renewed when your annual fees are paid. Don’t have a card? The Tuscany Club must see a copy of your certificate of title, ID showing proof of residency and a completed Resident’s Information Form (which can be found on our website) in order to receive your permanent membership cards. All documents can be dropped off in person or emailed to customerservice@tuscanyclub.ca Want online access? Visit www.tuscany-connect.com and click on “SIGN ME UP!”. Completed letters can be dropped off to Santa's direct mail slot at the Tuscany Club just below the outside CSR window. Each letter dropped off by Decem- ber 18th will receive a personalized response. Remember to include a return address with each letter. Holiday Extravaganza Two great events on one festive day. Each 6 player team (1goalie, 3 players, 2 subs) must consist of a minimum of 2 Tuscany residents and all players must be 18+ years. Registration packages will be available at www.tuscany-connect.com after December 1st. Cost is $40/team. Family Day Winter Party Monday, February 20th 11:00am-2:00pm Come celebrate Family Day at the Tuscany Club with music, games, treats and skating (weather permitting) and more. Our young participants will build and program a Mars rover, racing car, helicopter and much more! This highly engaging pro- gram builds early STEM and spatial skills while fostering a love of science, exploration and nature. In our Multi-Sport classes, children learn the fundamentals of different sports each week in a fun, stress-free, non-competitive setting. Taught by an internationally qualified instructor with over 25 years of experience who trained and competed in both Europe and North America. Classes consist of an energetic warm-up, followed by stretching and then self defence and sparring drills. Students will learn the spirit of martial arts and take away skills that apply to all aspects of their lives in and outside the dojang. Participants are required to bring all of their own yoga props including a mat, 2 thick blocks, 1 thin block, a strap, a bolster and a blanket. Page 14 Adult Programs cont’d December Fitness Class Mash Up We are continuing with our Adult Fitness Mash Up classes for Fall. Please see below for our weekly schedule and class de- scriptions. Each class is registered individually for online, in person and over the phone and we will continue to accommo- date non-members as space allows. Please visit our website for more information. Take as many as you like, whenever you like. Cancellations with 48 hours of notice or more will be credited to account and all classes will require a minimum of 5 par- ticipants to run. Non-member registrations are non-refundable.
Page 15 Adult Programs cont’d Adult Fitness Class Descriptions Body Tuning (Michelle Hines) This class focuses on tuning up the body with minimal equipment. High muscular endurance combined with high reps, sets, and rest to see results. Limited impact & cardio. All fitness levels welcome. Equipment will be provided but participants must bring a mat to each class. Legs, Butt & Thighs Cardio Intervals (Rachel Davidson) This class is a full body workout with many options to take it up or down a level. So many variations to keep everyone engaged and never get bored! Participants need to bring their own mat to each class, but other equipment will be provided. Functional HIIT (Ameira Steidl) This class will change every week to optimize results and will include functional movement that alternate short bursts of intense exer- cise with low intensity recovery periods. All levels are welcome. Equipment will be provided but participants must bring a mat to each class. Gentle Stretch (Rachel Davidson) Increase muscle control, flexibility and range of motion with this dedicated stretching class. Great for all levels. Equipment will be provided but participants must bring a mat to each class. Vinyasa Yoga (Kristy Karpa) Vinyasa yoga will link together movement and breath in a fluid way that focuses on gaining flexibility, building strength, tied together with mindfulness. This class will encourage all levels of practice to be challenged and supported to experience what they have brought to the mat each time they practice. Each class will be different based on the instructors creative sequencing to break free from movement patterns and keep you present. Participants must bring all their own yoga props. Yin Yoga (Damjana Vjlacic) In this class we will explore a variety of passive floor posses while holding each pose for up to 5 minutes. These poses will target mainly the lower part of the body and will improve your energy flow while offering mental and emotional benefits. Participants must bring all their own yoga props to each class (bolster, blanket, 2x thick blocks, 1x thin blocks, strap, yoga mat, 2 tennis balls; eye bag optional). Zumba (Lynn Ann Goodings) This fitness class combines dance and fitness moves. Inspired by Latin dance and music, it uses a variety of styles in its routines, in- cluding Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Mambo, Rumba, Flamenco and Hip Hop. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body.
