About Wild in Art We are creative event producers connecting businesses, artists and communities through the power of creativity. We work with organisations that share our belief in the importance of creativity and the arts. We produce high-quality, meaningful and innovative events that make a difference. We believe in: collaboration, innovation, quality, commercial realism, fun and wonder, trust and fairness, taking risks, and relevance. Background Since establishing the business in 2008 we have animated cities with sculptures across the world including Auckland, Sydney, Cape Town and São Paulo, and created public art events for the London 2012 Olympics, the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Historic Royal Palaces and Penguin Random House. This year we have a busy event calendar including the first ever Morph trail in North Tyneside, Whale Tales in Auckland, A Dog’s Trail with Snoopy in South Wales and our first trail in Northern Ireland, Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail. With our unique business model working with partner organisations, our events have raised more than £19.5 million for charitable causes to date and helped millions of people of all ages to experience art in non-traditional settings. Through our high-profile events we provide a platform for emerging and professional artists to showcase their work, and have injected over £3.5 million into local creative communities through commissions. We champion the importance of art for everybody and the social, cultural and educational benefits which it provides. Our Learning Programmes provide exceptional, creative opportunities to get participants excited about arts and literacy, and engage them in important topics - from citizenship, environmental issues and the natural world, to health and wellbeing, to name a few. More than 950,000 young people have taken part in our Learning Programmes to date. Since our official records began the overall economic impact of our events, for example through increases in tourism and visitor spend in host cities, stands at over £50million. 2
