OPEN UP A WORLD OF POSSIBILITY Summer arrives with sun-filled days and warm evenings that offer free time to step outside our daily routines and explore new projects. These explorations are unique for each person; from the homeowner pursuing a backyard landscaping plan, to the start-up launching their business or the dedicated summer research student, we all require guidance and access to information on our journey to expand our lives. Opening up a world of possibility is one of the Library’s primary goals. Starting June 1, we are offering memberships to a wider audience to provide access to essential materials and services. We invite non-residents who work or study within the City of Barrie to explore the advantages of being a Library member. Your free library card will provide access to books, online courses, and our Digital Library - all the tools required to activate innovation and advance your goals. LEARN ONLINE Visit the Learn section of our Digital Library to access resources such as Lynda.com, Universal Class and TechBoomers. These learning tools contain tutorials and videos for many tech topics that you can complete on your own time. You will need to use your library card to access some of these resources.
