WELCOME TO YOUR UNA HOME! Housing & Residence Life APPLY TO LIVE ON CAMPUS! Living on campus is a great way to meet new people, travel to and from classes quickly, and have 24-hour access to all the wonderful opportunities UNA has to offer. We know that you will be more successful by making this your home-away-from-home therefore, all first-time, full-time freshmen are required to live on campus for one academic year. Mattielou & Olive are our newest residence halls and they were designed specifically for our freshmen community. There are plenty of amenities to help make your experience enjoyable while allowing you to interact with many other fellow members of the UNA Class of 2022! Each student is sent an email upon admission to the university to their UNA Portal Email (this email address is where we will send all your important info and updates so be sure to check it often) which includes instructions on applying for a residence hall room. You will need your UNA Portal username and password, a credit/debit card for the $150 non-refundable application fee, and authorization from a parent/guardian if you are under 19. MATTIELOU & OLIVE HALLS We are excited to offer our two newest residence halls for first-time freshmen at UNA. Mattielou Hall houses 335 freshmen residents on four floors. Olive Hall houses 429 freshmen residents on six floors. Both are located on the north end of campus and are designed to make the transition to college easier for our freshmen residents. The makeup of each building is mixed-gender by room. (Same gender occupants in each room, mixed gender throughout each hall) Mattielou & Olive residents have study areas and TV lounges on each floor including the main lobby. Residents love to hang out in these areas whether they're socializing over a game of pool or collaborating over a group project for class.
