WELCOME TO THE TELEGRAPH VITALITY JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 HOSTED BY QUINTA DO LAGO TAKING PART IS EASY AND FUN Swing into action, the competition is here once again. The Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship 2018, hosted by Quinta do Lago, is junior golf’s ‘major’ and offers a chance for everyone to get involved. • Free to enter • Juniors can play in as many qualifying events as they wish • Qualifiers can be attached to existing club competitions • The final takes place at Quinta do Lago, Portugal from 5-10 November 2018 • Net winners competition – winning boy and girl will win a two-day trip to the final in Portugal PRIZES GALORE ALL PARTICIPANTS JUNIOR ORGANISERS’ PRIZE DRAW All juniors will receive A Quick Guide to the Rules of Golf. GIRLS 7. A girls’ competition requires a minimum of two girls with a handicap of 36 or less. Where there is only one girl wishing to enter, she may play alongside the boys using the LGU tees. Her scorecard must be marked by a boy either aged 15 or over or with a handicap of 12 or less. In this latter instance and where a girls’ competition has fewer than five entries, the score will be determined against the SSS of the ladies’ course and not the CSS. 8. When results are returned, the original scorecard must be submitted and duly verified and signed by the club captain or club secretary and junior organiser.
