Safety & Security SAFETY & SECURITY MATTERS VISITING THE SCHOOL 1. All visitors must register and complete the SafeEntry procedure at the Guard Station at the FOYER. 2. Please report at the General Office. Visitors are NOT allowed to move into the school compound without permission. 3. Visitors must wear a mask when in the school. FOR YOUR CHILD 1. All students must wear a face mask when they are in school. 2. Do not give your child too much pocket money. The recommended amount will be $2 to $3. 3. Students are NOT allowed to wear jewellery in school. 4. Label all belongings (name and class) – water bottles, wallets, etc. 5. Advise your child to seek help from his/her teacher when needed.

GET IT RIGHT The GET-It-Right Programme is intended to enable a smooth transition for preschool children entering primary school.

PARENTS GATEWAY (PG) ● Parents Gateway is a mobile app specially designed for parents. ● Access to Parents Gateway is granted to parents and legal guardians of students studying in MOE schools in Singapore. ● Hougang Primary School is on board Parents Gateway - Dissemination of information to parents (consent forms, cancellation forms, circulars etc.). Some teachers also use it as a platform to remind parents on certain information like PSLE.
