WELCOME TO Brooklyn!
After a busy night and far too many gin and tonics on the way from
Brooklyn to Manhattan (on the Williamsburg Bridge), a crazy idea emerges
around 2010: the own burger bar.
Three years and many drinks later: here we go! The Brooklyn Burger Bar
is there. In the heart of Hamburg in a traditional location - a former
pharmacy. But why a Burger Bar? Because Burgers can be much more than
a greasy, „drowned in remoulade“ fast food product. Hamburgers in general
need - as we think - way more dedication ... ;-)
As such, your burger will be something very special. Everything home-
made, everything fresh is our motto. Best cheeses, the freshest ingredients,
and pasture-reared Frisian beef, minced daily fresh - always without
preservatives, flavor enhancers etc. All relishes, sauces and dips are
produced and bottled by ourselves. A lot of effort, which delivers great
taste - as you will hopefully also recognize.
Unless otherwise ordered, we grill all the burgers medium. You can
also get most of the burgers as a vegetarian version with organic-
patty. Check the carrot!
In addition to the burger-offer, we're doing what we've done in the
former Streits Lounge since 2003: carefully prepared drinks - classic and
reinterpreted, remixed with devotion. Again, we only work with the best
ingredients.
This combination is the merging result of our awesome NYC tours and what
we have always loved - good food and good drinks. There is so much to
discover and try ... Let's go!
