Wedding Package 2021/2022
Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for considering Petersons
Armidale Winery & Guesthouse as the venue for your forthcoming wedding.
Each and every wedding is a unique event, we take great pride and pleasure in
ensuring your special day runs smoothly and your guests long savour the
occasion of your wedding at Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse.
Only 5 minutes from Armidale and set amongst magnificent old English
gardens along with the historic 'Palmerston' homestead built in 1911 we can
offer you the luxury and comfort of a world-class retreat as well as an exquisite
backdrop for your wedding.
Please find enclosed our wedding information package, together with some
useful information that may assist you with the organization of your wedding.

Accommodation
This is your time to relax and enjoy the comforts and luxury that Petersons
Armidale Winery and Guesthouse has to offer.
No travelling the morning of your wedding, you can wake up on site and have a
relaxing and enjoyable morning while you get ready as well as stay the night of
your wedding so you don't have to worry about travelling back in town with all
of your family and friends.
The Rooms:
Offering 7 beautifully appointed guest rooms including our
luxurious bridal suite all with en-suite bathrooms and a fully
country cooked breakfast for up to 14 guests.
The Prices:
Saturday night $1,650.00 for all 7 rooms, sleeping up to 14 people.
Friday night or Sunday night at a discounted price of $1,155.00
for all 7 rooms, sleeping up to 14 people.
Add Ons:
Extra people up to 18 at $35.00 per person per night (including breakfast).
Extra people are also welcome for breakfast the next day, however incur a
$30.00 charge for breakfast.

Wedding Ceremony
Petersons Guesthouse gardens and grounds provide the ideal setting for your
wedding ceremony. With several options to choose from including the
Weeping Elm Tree, Drawing Room, Cellar Door and the Entrance to the
Guesthouse you will be spoilt for choice.
Ceremony Inclusions
- A clothed signing table and chairs.
- 20 x White Gladiator style chairs for your guests.
- Rehearsal if requested, subject to availability.
- Access to the entire property for photos.
- 2 x Wine Barrels for decorations.
Add Ons:
- Additional White Gladiator chairs for $6.50 each.
- PA system with microphone for $200.00 (can also be used during the
reception).
Venue Hire & Ceremony: $1,000.00.

Pre-Dinner Food & Beverages
After your ceremony has concluded and you begin your wedding photos as a
new married couple, your guests can indulge in some pre-dinner food and
beverages.
This is also a great time to start a cash bar or your drinks package.
A selection of 4 canapes (2 cold/2 hot) will be served after the
ceremony to your guests for 1 hour, this is included in reception meal
packages.
Our team will also locate the bridal party when they are having photos,
to ensure they are fed during the canape service time
Add Ons:
- Grazing table with antipasto, cheese, bread and dips after the ceremony
for $8.00 per person.
- Extended canape service for 30 minutes (more of the same canapes you
have already selected ) $5.00 per person.
- Lawn Games (giant jenga, bocce, croquet, noughts & crosses) $80.00

Wedding Reception - Guesthouse
Neutrally coloured and with impressive high ceilings, natural light, wooden
beams and open fireplaces, this space will certainly wow your guests. The
guesthouse also offers several spaces to hold your wedding including the great
hall, drawing room, dining room and veranda.
Guesthouse Inclusions:
- Accommodating up to 70 guests.
- All linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and tea light candles.
- Two wine barrels.
-Exclusive use of the Petersons Guesthouse and heritage gardens on your
wedding day for your photos.
- One gift table (if required).
- Fully licensed bar and full table service.
- Complimentary menu and wine tasting tasting for the bride and groom
leading up to your wedding.
Add Ons:
- Additional wine barrels - $10.00 each
- Easel $10.00
- Wishing Well $10.00
- Tables, chairs, dance floor, extra lighting - POA

Wedding Reception - Marquee
Our onsite marquee is the perfect setting to hold your special day above 70
guests. Offering a larger space and a blank canvas for you to make it your
own, our marquee is ideal for those looking to celebrate in style.
Marquee Inclusions:
- Accommodating up to 200 guests max.
- All linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and tea light candles.
- Two wine barrels.
-Exclusive use of the Petersons Guesthouse and heritage gardens on your
wedding day for your photos.
- One gift table (if required).
- Fully licensed bar and full table service.
- Complimentary menu and wine tasting tasting for the bride and groom
leading up to your wedding.
- Permanent ceiling silks, fairy lights and chandeliers.
- Option for clear or block out walls.
- White padded folding chairs and your choice of round or trestle tables.
Add Ons:
- PA System with microphone $200.00
- Additional wine barrels - $10.00 each
- Easel $10.00
- Wishing Well $10.00
- Floor, extra lighting - POA

Package Prices
Buffet Package
Suited for a relaxed and and inexpensive wedding reception, where
your guests will be called one table at a time to be served their food by
our staff.
- Five hour beverage package including quality Petersons wines, beers,
sparkling water and soft drinks
- Selection of four canapés – served after the ceremony
- Buffet main course
- Plating of your wedding cake served with berry coulis and double
cream (served to the table or on platters for guests to help themselves)
- Unlimited filtered tea and coffee
Guesthouse wedding 70 guests - $130.00 per person.
Marquee wedding 70-200 guests - $147.00 per person.
Canape Package
Canapes served over a duration of 3-3.5 hours throughout the
afternoon/evening (times subject to change).
- Five hour beverage package including quality Petersons wines, beers,
sparkling water and soft drinks
- Selection of eight canapés (4 cold / 4 hot)
- Selection of two substantial canapés
- Grazing table with antipasto, cheese, bread and dips – replenished
throughout the afternoon & evening
- Your wedding cake served on a platter with bowls of berry coulis and
double cream
- Unlimited filtered coffee and tea
Guesthouse wedding 70 guests - $130.00 per person.
Marquee wedding 70-200 guests - $168.00 per person.

Platter Package
A casual and relaxed dining option, where food is bought to the table
for everyone to share. Platters of four meats, potatoes and side dishes
are served to the table so everyone can help themselves.
- Five hour beverage package including quality Petersons wines, beers,
sparkling water and soft drinks
- Selection of four canapés – served after the ceremony
- Platter entrée served to the table
- Platter main course served to the table
- Plating of your wedding cake served on platters with bowls of berry
coulis and double cream
- Unlimited filtered coffee
Guesthouse wedding 70 guests - $140.00 per person.
Marquee wedding 70-200 guests - $167.00 per person.
Alternate Serve Package
A traditional sit down meal with two dishes of your choosing from each
course that will be served alternatively to you and your guests.
- Five hour beverage package including quality Petersons wines, beers,
sparkling water and soft drinks
- Selection of four canapés – served after the ceremony
- Bread and butter once seated
- Choice of two entrees, served alternatively
- Choice of two main courses, served alternatively
- Plating of your wedding cake served with berry coulis & cream
- Unlimited filtered coffee and tea

Additional Catering Add Ons
Bridal Lunch
Platters of cold meats, gourmet salads and
breads served alongside Petersons sparkling water and jugs of orange
juice.
Plus the Bride receives a complimentary glass of bubbles –$25.00 per
person.
Morning after breakfast/brunch
The morning after your wedding, your guests staying within the house can
enjoy an included breakfast. Additional guests joining the breakfast will
incur a surcharge from $30.00 per person.
Rehearsal Dinner
From $32.00 per person, enquire with your wedding planner for menu
choices.
Chocolate Truffles
A platter of chocolate truffles to sit aside the tea and coffee station for a
little extra something for your guests after the meal for $3.00 per person.
Dessert
Additional dessert or a substitute for your wedding cake we can offer an
alternate served dessert for $11.00 per person or buffet style mini dessert
eaten by hand (two choices $9.00pp, three choices $11.00pp & four choices
$13.00pp).
10Additional Catering Add Ons
Antipasto and/or cheese grazing table
A grazing table is a great idea to add a little extra on top of your chosen
package. Served either directly after your ceremony or after dinner. We
can do a price value based on the number of people and the amount
required.
Children
At $45.00 per person, a child's meal includes a meal, ice cream, and a soft
drink package. Alternatively, the wedding cake can be served as a dessert
(0-12 years).
Vendors/Suppliers
If you have a photographer, DJ, or other suppliers who will be working into
the night, we can prepare and serve them a meal for $32.00 per person.
Dietary Requirements
All guests that have dietary requirements will be served a specific meal, no
matter which package is chosen. We can cater to all dietaries and these
are required to be given at least 7 days out from the wedding.

Upgrade to a premium beer package - $3.00pp
Includes Corona, John Boston golden ale/pale ale, Peroni.
Upgrade to a premium wine package - $2.00pp
The premium wine upgrade allows you to offer your guests an additional white wine
and red wine, either from the list above or some select wines from our Mudgee
vineyard.
Beverage package extension
$10.00pp for 1 hour or $14.00pp for 1.5 hours.
Please note that due to the winemaking process, some wines may change prior to your
wedding. Your wedding coordinator will advise you if any wines are added or removed from
the above list.
12Terms and Conditions
Liability
Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse takes all due care but accepts no
responsibility for any loss or damage to merchandise or other property in the function
area prior to, during, or after functions. The client is financially liable for any damage
sustained to the estate property, fixtures or fittings whether through their own actions
or those of their guests.
Cancellation
In the unfortunate case of cancellation, the fees will be as follows:
- More than 6 months prior to the function: the initial deposit is fully refunded.
- Notice of 3-6 months: 50% of the initial deposit is refunded.
- 15 to 90 days prior to the function: the initial deposit and second payment forfeited.
- Within 14 days prior to the function: the initial deposit and all pre-payments forfeited.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
Due to any unforeseen circumstances or accidents, the venue reserves the right to
cancel any booking and refund any deposit at any time.
Prices:
Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices and package inclusions, they may be
subject to alteration prior to your function.
Please note that all public holidays incur a 10% surcharge and a two-night minimum
stay.
All quoted prices are inclusive of GST.
Contact Person:
Please nominate a single person who will be responsible for all communication with
Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse.
Marquee:
Any damages done to Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse marquee will be
payable to the client.
Decorations:
Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse is a heritage listed building, therefore no
decorations are to be attached to the walls.
13How do I book?
Deposit
To secure your wedding date, we require a $1,000.00 deposit along with
the completed wedding booking form and wedding contract. The deposit
will also make up your venue hire & ceremony costs.
Second Payment
Three months prior to your wedding day, we require 50% of the total value
of your wedding invoice.
Third Payment
Four weeks prior to the wedding day, we require the final payment of the
remaining wedding invoice.
We will also ask for credit card details, to be used to settle any
outstanding balance left owing at the close of the wedding reception.
