COUPLE’S EXPERIENCE:
P RIVATE SITE I NSP ECTI O N: Wedding couples receive a personal site inspection of the resort to help choose ceremony and
reception location options.
ONE-O N-O NE: All questions are answered in a private meeting with the resort’s wedding coordinator to ensure the couple’s vision for the
wedding day is realized.
RE CEIVE CR ED I T : After the site inspection, the couple receives a credit towards wedding extras for the wedding events, bachelorette/
bachelor party or the honeymoon if they book within 30 days of the return date.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Wedding couple can obtain this special rate by contacting their travel agent, tour operator or hotel directly for the couple to be eligible for the credits. All on-site meetings and site inspection dates and times must be confirmed with the wedding coordinator in advance of travel.
Resort Credit:
If wedding date is booked within 30 days of return date, the couple will receive: • $500 credit for wedding extras (for groups with minimum 45 room nights cumulative)

The following list of legal requirements is needed for legal marriage. The Dreams Playa Mujeres wedding planner must receive the following documents to
begin the application for marriage in the civil registry office:
• Bride, groom and witnesses must arrive in Cancun four business days prior to the wedding day (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays do not count). Symbolic and
non-legal ceremonies allow flexibility for arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss requirements.
• Tourist card (receive these upon arrival at Cancun International Airport)
• Valid passports
• $348 + taxes (per couple) fee for blood test must be taken in Mexico. To be considered valid, the test should not be taken more than 14 days prior to the
ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases and blood type. The results will be ready in 24 hours together with a certificate of
the blood test. Wedding coordinator will make those arrangements for you, usually early morning the day after arrival.
• Judge’s transportation fee. Round trip from the city is $120 + taxes. Please add $150 + taxes for judge services for Saturdays and Mexican holidays.
• $500 + taxes for the city hall court fees and application process (does not apply for Love or Ultimate wedding packages)
• Four witnesses with valid passport and tourist card. The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of a tourist card and a valid
passport of the four witnesses. Wedding coordinator will send you the legal form. The witnesses can be relatives, friends or anyone with a valid passport. If
you do not provide witnesses, we can provide them at $25 + taxes per witness.
• The marriage certificate is only valid in Mexico. To make the marriage certificate legal internationally, the wedding coordinator will send a copy of your
license. The process will take two to three months. Once the document is apostilled, the resort will send all documentation to couples home address.
Documents will be in Spanish but can be translated for an additional $208 + taxes (shipping fee is included).
None of the above mentioned services are included in our wedding packages. It is the couple’s responsibility to have all the documents ready before the wedding.
