PDF slide only (not for presentation) VXFIBER - a Software Defined Active Layer Open Access Network Operator 1 Fibre operator platform with powerful software layer and management capabilities for true open access networks, wholesale only Low on-boarding costs for ISPs and ease of use for end-consumers paired with high 2 attach rates for fibre owners 3 Long-standing experience and track record in achieving end user customer satisfaction based on freedom of choice and automatisation of sales & provisioning 4 Best-in-class approach to active layer operation, monitoring and maintenance 5 Excellent scalability of platform and operation with more than 200 000 own active users in multiple markets 6 Strong management team with 18 years of experience in fiber deployments and network operations, prime investor AMP Capital (< 19 billion EUR in Infra Investments world wide) Strictly private and confidential2
Trends underpinning separation of infrastructure and services (for fixed and mobile, 5G and fibre) • Ownership of access infrastructure no longer a key success factor for service providers – see the TowerCo separation of infra from operations in the 4G/5G world. • There is less need for a infrastructure competition in each section of the market, but rather a service competition. The relevant distinction is between infra and service. • Software Defined Access Networks are blurring the line between active and passive layers – the level of control for the ISP remains the same, but need less investment. • Investment horizon and competence are different for infrastructure and operations/services. 3 Strictly private and confidential

In a 3-layer model (3LOM) a Network Operator designs network, owns, and run active equipment, manages service providers Manage and Support Service Own active infrastructure Operate network Providers • Design network architecture • 24/7 proactively and • Identity and contract continuously monitoring Service Providers • Purchase and own hardware – Network traffic – Core network equipment, e g – Fibre values • Manage Service Provider routers and servers – Access equipment, e g – Unreachable mix (family package, top distribution and access subscribers of the range, etc) switches – Network termination devices • Maintain network • Second and third tier on the subscriber premises support for ISPs to support during • Purchase or develop software troubleshooting • Manage Service Provider portal PRIVATE AND STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL 5

The 3LOM concept is thoroughly proven in e.g. Sweden, Austria, UK, South Africa Sweden • Experience from number one open access Johannesburg operator Telia/Zitius (Quadracom) working on same platform with more than 440 000 households covered South Africa • 200 000 connected households and businesses • +5 000 additional each month Durban • 43 percent of the fibre market (Q2 2020) • 60+ Service Providers (including all mobile operators and the major telecom operators Vodacom, Telkom, MTN, CellC) Cape Town PRIVATE AND STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL 9
Summary • Open Access ≠ Open Access. We should talk about : A) Wholesale Only Infrastructure and B) Software Defined Networks • Mobile Tower companies lead by optimizing value chains. Renting out infrastructure maximizes long term business cases. The operators offload balance sheets and focus on differentiating services. • We need to re-invent the value chain in FTTH and accelerate wholesale&co-operation efforts. Over-building infrastructure when large markets are
