Rainer Baule has been Chairman of Dr. Jörg Mittelsten Scheid, a

2015 Launch of power tools under the new brand name of TwercsSocial Committment to SOS Children’s Villages • The Vorwerk family-owned company set up the Vorwerk Family Fund to raise money for SOS Children’s Villages. • To date, the concerted efforts of employees, sales advisors, the Executive Board and the owner family have raised donations to the tune of 2,200,000 euros for the fund. • Vorwerk’s social commitment has so far helped SOS Children’s Villages in Hyderabad (India), Moín (Costa Rica) and is currently providing for Quy Nhon (Vietnam).
Social Committment Through the anstiftung & ertomis Foundation • Jens Mittelsten Scheid, a member of the owner family and founding member of the anstiftung & ertomis foundation, received the Deutscher Stifterpreis (German donors’ award) in May 2010 for his social commitment. • The anstiftung & ertomis foundation sponsors projects that promote independence and initiative, the peaceful coexistence of cultures, and also scientific, charitable and cultural projects. • Key focuses of the foundation are historical awareness, self-determination and a profound and lasting understanding of social prosperity.
