UTTARAKHAND UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURE & FORESTRY Bharsar-246 123, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand Vacancy Circular No.:UUHF/DP/318/1 (Deputation) Date: 15.01.2015 Faculty Positions to be filled on Deputation basis Government of Uttarakhand has established ‘Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry’ (UUHF) by an Act of State Legislative Assembly *The Uttarakhand Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishvavidyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2011 {Uttarakhand Act No. 13 of 2011}] dated 28th April, 2011 with notification No. 732/XIII-II/2011-12 dated September, 26, 2011. The University invites applications for filling-up following posts on deputation basis initially for a period of one year which may be extended on year to year basis up to a period of three years. The Application Form can be downloaded from the university website (www.uuhf.ac.in). Application Form duly filled can be sent by post to Associate Director Personnel, Project Office, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry, 14/3 Old Survey, Road, Dehradun – 248001. Consistently good academic record with at least 3 years of experience as Associate Professor or equivalent in any UGC recognized university/ educational institution/ organization. b. Experience in Planning / Execution / Coordination of activities in Forestry / Horticulture. c. Administrative experience will be an added qualification. Note: Only, those working as regular employee in UGC scale shall be considered.

Professor/ Junior Research Officer (JRO) in AGP of Rs. 6000/- or 3 years experience as Asstt. Professor/ JRO in AGP or Rs. 7000/- or as Asstt. Professor/ JRO in AGP of Rs. 8000/- in any UGC recognized university/ educational institution / organization. b. Experience in Planning / Execution / Coordination of activities in Forestry / Horticulture. c. Administrative experience will be an added qualification. Note: Only, those working as regular employee in UGC scale shall be considered. Eligibility: 1. The Officer/Faculty working as regular employee in UGC recognized Universities / Research Institutions / Statutory and Autonomous organizations and the Department of Central / State Govt. / Union Territories / Public Sector undertakings shall be eligible to apply for the above mentioned posts. Those working on adhoc basis or on consolidated salary shall not be considered. 2. Professional experience required is mentioned against each post.
3. The selected incumbent will be entitled to deputation allowance as per State Government Orders / Rules. If the incumbent is placed in higher Pay Band / AGP / GP than his present Pay Band / AGP / GP, in that case the deputation allowance shall not be admissible as per rules. 4. The maximum age limit for Faculty / Scientists should not exceed 62 years as on closing date of receipt of applications. 5. The screening committee will screen the applications, and will recommend the candidature for appointment on deputation basis. However, if required, the candidate may be called for Personal Discussion but no T.A. & D.A. shall be admissible for this purpose. Note: (1) The incumbent selected for any of the above mentioned post shall be required to join his duties at the place of posting at the earliest. (2) The incumbent taken on deputation may opt for service transfer /absorption in the University after serving the University for at least one year with satisfactory performance. For this purpose, the incumbent will be required to obtain NOC/Consent from his/her parent organisation. However, the right to absorb the services of the incumbent will remain with the University.
