UTD Essentials of Tech program in Oslo Norway 14th/17th July 2022 Dear student divers, first of all thank you for signing up for the UTD Essentials program. This is one of the most popular and exiting programs we have. It's a challenging Introduction journey that will prepare you for a future of diving where you are 100% in control and aware of you surroundings. We will start with an introduction dive where we all can get aquatinted with one another and get a feeling for how we train. This will prepare you for the rest of the course. We will do all our dives in calm waters with easy access to the surface so teaching is at its most effective due to the possibility for quick communication and feedback from your instructor. You will learn about UTD/DIR jargon, SMB use, gas sharing drills, propulsion techniques, situational awareness, the Basic-6 skills, propper ascending and descending techniques and the Ratio Deco dive planning as well as the Rock Bottom gas management and gas plan. We will take about 3 days for the Rec program and 4 days for the Tech program. depending on the level of the students. Remember its about the training process and not the plastic card. If you need more training then you can always buy some extra training dives after the course. As we say everybody passes an essentials class, just not everyone passes at the same time :-) Again thanks for you engagement and enthusiasm!
