“ Lyfta is a powerful platform that reduces the marginalisation that children and young people with additional needs too often experience. The platform removes boundaries and has the unique quality of removing those labels of SEN or disability. Suddenly the world is there to access, explore, and engage with as a global citizen. Vijita Patel, Swiss Cottage School I am delighted with the quality of the resources. The content is engaging and invokes a never ending discussion around a variety of topics, including some which traditionally have been hard to broach at primary school. Jon Carthy, Byron Primary School I am amazed at the resources for teaching! It makes learning so real and current for our children. Audrey Orpen, Venturers’ Academy © Lyfta 2021 9
Lyfta’s vision Our ultimate vision is that children will have digitally visited every country in the world by the time they leave school. They will have met at least one human being from each of these countries; experienced different cultures, languages, jobs, roles and perspectives. They will have seen hundreds of positive human stories modelling resilience, problem-solving, teamwork, and many other critical skills, values and competencies. They will understand for themselves how interconnected and interdependent we are, and will have gained a deep awareness of their power and role in the world. © Lyfta 2021 10
