Program runs: Dec. 1-31, Jan. 1-31, Feb. 1-28
Tweens and teens will learn yoga postures and breathing exercises while
having the opportunity to relax and refocus. Each month there will be a new
class for participants to expand their skills and techniques. Additionally, each
monthly session will have a new focus and intention. Grades 5-12.

and limited. Hours will include evenings and weekends. Board policy requires all staff members to be vaccinated.

All registered participants are asked to pick up a craft kit, in the
Family Center, containing three bookmark templates. Markers,

Community Engagement
The Great Give Back:
Thanks to our wonderful Plainview-Old Bethpage community members, the Great
Give Back 2021 was another amazing success! The Library collected much-needed
donations for the Mid-Island Y JCC’s Rudman Family Food Pantry and Last Hope
Animal Rescue from October 1 - October 15, 2021. (The mission of The Great Give
Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of
New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences.)
