TTC/PRESTO TOWN HALLS At the December 11, 2018 Town Hall, the public requested additional consultations in the Scarborough and Jane and Finch areas. The following consultations were held in March 2019: • March 26, 2019: St. Wilfrid Catholic School [Finch Ave and Sentinel Rd] • March 27, 2019: Scarborough Civic Centre [Ellesmere Rd and McCowan Dr] Meeting Advertisements & Promotion • Meeting Notice posted on the TTC website & e-mail to key stakeholders to notify of the upcoming Town Halls on PRESTO and PRESTO Tickets (March 14) o Stakeholders were requested to distribute the meeting notice via their community boards, newsletters or social media, and share it directly with their community stakeholders and partners o City of Toronto’s Employment/Social Services and Shelter Support/Housing Administration also shared this meeting notice with their stakeholders and community groups on our behalf • StarMetro Advertisement (March 19) • Scarborough & North York Mirrors Advertisement (March 21) • Social Media Advertisements: Twitter & Facebook (March 22 – 27) 2

ACCESSIBILITY & EQUITY YOU ASKED • Concerns on accessibility of services in general and for customers with disabilities WE LISTENED • Regular consultation with TTC Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) and Metrolinx Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) • PRESTO Reader Features o Tap results (card acceptance or decline) are shown with large, bright graphics and distinct sounds o Lower reader placement on the accessible fare gates • PRESTO Vending Machine Features o Audio mode via headset with PIN pad control o Large text labels featuring tactile text, symbols and Braille • Transit Equity o Fair Pass Discount Program available for eligible adult residents receiving Ontario Disability Support Program or Ontario Works assistance 12

RELIABILITY YOU ASKED • Concerns about device and fare gate reliability, correcting account issues, and remote loading delays WE LISTENED • TTC & PRESTO consistently working together to increase reliability (Dec 2018 results): o Fare Vending Machines: 97.6% o Self-Serve Reload Machine: 99.8% o PRESTO Readers: 98.9% • TTC working with S&B (Scheidt & Bachmann) on fare gate reliability (Nov 2018 results): o Fare gates: 97.7% Reliability results are published in the TTC CEO Report 14
DATA & PRIVACY YOU ASKED • To address privacy concerns WE LISTENED • Metrolinx is committed to keeping your information confidential • Processes and policies are developed with protection of privacy in mind, while maintaining the safety and security of the regional transit system o Information may be provided to Police in critical circumstances (e.g. Amber Alert, security threats) • Staff handling personal customer information receive necessary training to ensure your information is protected and used appropriately • Full policy is posted here: https://www.prestocard.ca/en/privacy 15
PURCHASING OPTIONS YOU ASKED • Concerns with purchasing PRESTO cards only at subway stations and Shoppers Drug Mart • Concerns with the PRESTO card costs and minimum load values being too high WE LISTENED • Additional purchasing locations are under review by Metrolinx and TTC • PRESTO card cost covers manufacturing and administrative expenses o Cost is recovered through lower fares on PRESTO and the 2-hour transfer • Minimum load o PRESTO minimum load policy is currently under review o Fare vending machines at subway stations have a minimum load of $5 16
