Resident Interviews • Did you have a garden, and what did you plant? • March is ‘Peanut Butter Lovers’ month. What is your favorite peanut butter treat? • March 7 is National Cereal Day. What is you favorite cereal? • What was your least favorite thing to spring clean? Virginia: • I had no garden. • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups • Raisin Bran • The kitchen: pots, pans, shelves – all of it! Ralph: • Yes, I had a garden. I planted some flowers and vegetables. I planted marigolds to keep away insects and wildlife. I usually planted beans, tomatoes and sweet corn. One year I planted Brussels sprouts. That didn’t work out too well! I picked a bunch, took them into the house and they were covered in little green bugs. My wife said, “Get those out of here!” • I eat peanut butter right out of the jar by the spoonful!
