#BurpeesForConservation – the concept Nothing Raise money to upskill anti-poaching good teams to preserve wildlife in the Greater Kruger Area in South Africa and to motivate 10.000 people + in over 30 countries to happens improve their fitness levels BY unless Starting the biggest ever worldwide burpee (a pushup followed by a you do it leap in the air) challenge for conservation of African wildlife: Erich Kästner 1 MILLION within 4 weeks burpees for 1 million ZAR (mid March – mid April 2021)

6 GKEPF was established in 2016, in direct response to the alarming GREATER KRUGER number of endangered animals killed by poachers in the region of the Greater Kruger National Park (GKNP) – an area which ENVIRONMENTAL encompasses more than 20 million hectares of unfenced wilderness and which is host to the largest wild rhino population in the world. Eleven founding members, including nine private reserves, one PROTECTION provincial park and one national park, came together to form an alliance and registered a non-profit company, GKEPF, to service the FOUNDATION protection needs of the western and eastern flanks of the Kruger National Park and the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier National Park. For the most part these wildlife and ecologically sensitive areas are open to the Kruger National Park with no fences separating them. GKEPF aims to minimise wildlife crime in this area through aligned approaches, shared INTRODUCTION – WHO WE ARE resources, effective communication and collaboration with strategic partners.

8 GKEPF supports the continuous training of field rangers at the Where is your coal face of wildlife protection. Skills such as expert trackers and dog handlers are continuously developed. The well-being and development of the ranger force is the basis of an effective donation going? approach to combat the constant threat on wildlife. The costs involved to maintain and constantly improve these skillsets are exorbitant and a limiting factor. FUNDS RAISED THROUGH #BurpeesForConservation WILL BE APPLIED TO THIS NEED.
9 HOW TO KICKSTART THE CHALLENGE Bruce “Burpee” Lawson BRUCE LAWSON 30,000 BURPEES IN as our frontman INTRODUCTION 10 DAYS CHALLENGE • Wilderness & Trails Guide & Instructor: Bruce attempts to perform 30,000 burpees 20,000 hours walking in the African bush during 10 days in a hotel room in Australia, • Frontman of #walking4hope campaign: while being quarantined. 1000km in 20 days “Bearded Hero” • Completed an unsupported walk from Cape to Cairo in 1997/98 WE PLAN A LIVE STREAM FOR THIS • Functional & Personal Fitness Trainer SURELY INCREDIBLE CHALLENGE. • Bad Ass 30,000 burpees in 10 days mean 250 per hour if Bruce is working out 12h/day
10 HOW TO ACHIEVE AWARENESS Great to market over all platforms: escape from lockdown frust Extensive & dedicated marketing / PR campaign through sponsors, sport brands, labels, personal networks over all channels By engaging various target groups to participate in the challenge: • friends & supporters of Tshembo and their friends & families • guiding community and their friends & families as well as former guests • anti-poaching teams and their friends & families • sportsmen and their friends & families, sports clubs, fitness studios • involve well-known personalities, e.g. Rugby Players, Martial Arts & CrossFit Champions, Soccer Players, etc.
11 GREAT PROJECTS NEED GREAT PARTNER How to be an active part of our campaign SPONSORSHIP BRUCE LAWSON IDEA: Bruce Lawson attempts to perform 30,000 burpees within 10 days in a hotel room in Adelaide, Australia. This will be done completely unsupported as Bruce will be under strict quarantine. HOW: We look for sponsorship and will provide the following: • Depending on package: Native integration & branding PR & media coverage • Own media integration: Live Stream from the hotel room (probably on youtube)/Instagram & Facebook Feeds / Live Chat during teaser phase & activity phase & wrap-up and post-reporting phase • Open for your ideas IF HE PERFORMS 12 HOURS A DAY (WITHOUT ANY BREAK) THIS MEANS HE HAS TO COMPLETE A BURPEE EVERY 14S!
