Welcome
Welcome to the fourth Trendlewood Community Festival.
Many ancient communities have village fetes, Church fetes, or garden parties in
the summer, but most new communities have no central gathering place. Back in
2013, a small team decided to create a community event for the Trendlewood
Community, and we are delighted to bring the Festival back this year to provide
a summer event for the community, especially after a tough 18 months.
With support from Trendlewood Church and a great list of sponsors and
supporters the event is again free to enter.
There is a great musical line-up all day, many outlets for food, drink and light
refreshments, static displays of classic and rare vehicles, a market stall area with
local businesses and organisations, and lots of fun family activities.
Today is about bringing the community together. If we do make a surplus, it will
go to the Nailsea Community Group – a fantastic initiative started at the
beginning of the pandemic to support the Nailsea Community.
