   Heading to the mostly indoor

reminding oneself that art is
very much about beauty being

loved it in its entire detail. Me,
I’m more of a stick figure artist
but I was way impressed with
the innovation and creativity on
display – very, very clever. Yes I
did enjoy it a lot.

Historic Homesteads, Mud, and Mountains
After a previous visit to Bushy Park, Pete, Kay,
Keith and I decided we would like to spend a Hawkes Bay

then out Brunswick Road to get
     to Bushy Park.
        At Bushy Park we were
     introduced to our host Dale.
He now runs the Homestead. It
     was a wonderful old Homestead
built in the early 1900s. It was
     like walking into my Grandma’s
house, the old photos on the
wall with the old frames, old
furniture. Bought back a lot of
     childhood memories.
        Around the Homestead is a
lot of Bush which has a predator
free fence around it. So we
     enjoyed some bush walks
before it got too dark. We then
retired to the lounge for a drink
     before dinner.
        Dinner served in the dining
room we had Roast Beef with
Yorkshire pudding – yes just like
Grandma’s – followed by dessert apple crumble. Monday morning we headed up the mountain
