Our second big project was to invite the Creation Care teams from four other Brevard churches to jointly host an Electric Vehicle auto show on October 30. More than 200 people showed up! Fired up by that success, these five churches will work together again in 2022 - to host a “Hard2Recycle Day” in April, - and bring an HRI Hemlock Workshop to Brevard in early spring. We’ve also had little projects. For example, the upstairs Sunday School classes asked for paper-recycling bins. We found a blue bin, and then the children joined the campaign to create and decorate recycling boxes for each classroom! (Please admire them the next time you’re upstairs!) We have many more ideas – the United Methodist Church also has lots of ideas [https://www.wnccumc.org/wncc-creation-care-ministry] - so we hope you will join us in 2022 for one - or many - projects designed to help protect God’s Creation.
