We will not under any circumstances, no matter YOUR justification condone any verbal, and/or physically escalation towards anyone. You will be escorted out of the building. After deciding if this will stop, you will be allowed to re-enter after the current game is concluded. If it continues, the team will forfeit their games and potential future involvement in our events.
2021 SPRING/SUMMER OVERVIEW/PLAYING RULES Games are available VIA LIVE-STREAM Teams and players DO NOT BRING THEIR OWN BASKETBALLS. All warm-up and game balls will be provided by P2P Sports Please no outside food, coolers. (help keep our gyms/event center clean) Coaches Conduct, Bench Decorum and Coaches Box Enforcement The state high school league coach’s box, bench decorum and coaches conduct will be enforced. Only 2 coaches per team are allowed on the bench. Only players on official roster allowed on bench (no siblings) Officials: CHSAA certified will be assigned by Bruce Bird and Lloyd Martinez Playing Rules: YOUTH LEVELS: 1-8th Grade A no press rule is in effect for 15 points. If your team is up by 15 points, you are allowed to pick up the offense at ½ court. No full court press/defense is allowed until the point differential is 14 points or below, when you are then allowed to press again until it goes to 15 points again. State High School League Rules, with the following exceptions: 1. Warm-ups (4 minutes), Half-times (3 minutes) 2. Two, 20-minute halves (clock runs continuous). Clock stops last 1 minute of 1st half, and last 2 minutes of 2nd half with point differential 10 points or less. 3. Overtime: 1st (2 minutes stopped time), 2nd (first team to score 2 points) 4. Team bench area for players and coaches on roster allowed. No exceptions, and any violation of parents or fans entering the area is disqualification from Event Center for that date of game. 5. All Offenses and defenses are allowed in tournament play 6. 3 time-outs per team, per game, do not carry into OT. One additional timeout provided for OT (no additional if goes into 2nd OT)
COVID Guidelines P2P Sports has provided events for 31 years around the region and country. We are a national sanctioning body founded (in Minnesota 1989) and operated right here in beautiful northern Colorado since 2000! Be appreciative of the opportunity for kids to play and be willing to work with us on safety and fun. Our staff is here to serve, and willing to help those who approach whatever happens in a respectful, and polite manner. REALITY: It will not matter what we do as an organization and how people work together, there will be a small percentage of people who are going to be critical, judgmental and disrespectful in this COVID world. We ask if you are attending, just be kind. Work together. Care about someone else other than the person you see in the mirror and remember that the only people you hurt are the players opportunity. Everything we do is about first-class, luxury, and respect to you as a patron of our programs. Our standards for ourselves is higher than whatever governmental agency “expert” is telling you or us, so rest assured, if you need something, we are here to help you. *Reminder: Every inch of our Event Center, parking lot and inside is under video, recorded surveillance. The exceptions are the restrooms. If issues arise, we simply refer to the recordings to hopefully address in a polite manner. Please keep this in mind as you are visiting. Masks still required by the state of Colorado for everyone playing sports. (yes, it’s ridiculous!) Social distancing, common sense working together. If an area is crowded, please go outside and where there’s fresh air and sunshine.. Relax and smile. If you have a problem with wearing a mask based on political or whatever reason, please stay home. We must follow what is being mandated. If you are expecting every person in attendance to be perfect, every second of every hour you are in attendance on social distancing, politely address, and ask for help in a kind manner or politely pass on visiting and watch on the live-stream. Being rude and disrespectful makes you part of the problem, and not part of the solution and patience needed. If you become a problem to our working together with each other, then we politely will remove you and your child from the series and future events here at P2P Sports.
