Scope of Work 2021 Pickleball & Multi-Game Court Project Braegger Park, 326 S 300 E, Providence UT Two pickleball courts, placed side by side Contractor Responsibility. 1. Prepare site for court installation 2. Relocate sprinkler supply lines 3. Establish base elevation 4. Finish work and landscaping 5. Obtain all required permits 6. Provided all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the construction of two post tension courts per specifications and as shown on the park illustration. 7. Provide all required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the colored/textured surfacing of pickleball courts. 8. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the installation of the permanent posts and nets for both courts. 9. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the fencing of the pickleball courts. 10. Provide all surveying, construction observation services, and testing services. Notes for Prospective Contractors 1. Court construction shall meet city standards and codes, American Sport Builders Association (ASBA), and USA Pickleball Association. 2. A total playing area of 64 feet x 34 feet is required for one single court. There will be a bank of two courts requiring an apron of 64 feet x 68 feet. 3. Court bank apron shall be a 5” thick post-tensioned concrete slab with dropped edges around the perimeter of the court bank. Slabs should be constructed using acceptable engineering practices in accordance with the American Concrete Institute Building Code requirements for reinforced concrete and the post-tensioning institutes tentative specifications for post- tensioning materials. 4. Court bank apron shall be finished with a two-tone acrylic color finish system, finshes shall ensure the following key objectives: a. To provide a surface properly drained, without depressions exceeding acceptable tolerance. b. To provide a surface of uniform texture, speed of play and desired playing quality. c. To provide a weather-resistant and ultra-violet-resistant, durable, non-glare, protective finish. d. To provide color, contrast and other aesthetic values. 5. Net shall meet official USA Pickleball Association regulation to maintain 36 inches high at each sideline and fixed height of 34 inches in the middle of the court, net frame posts shall be city approved and poured in place powder-coated steel posts. 6. Perimeter fencing shall be city approved 6 feet high chain-link around exterior, interior low fencing between the courts shall be 4 feet high chain-link, with two exterior entry gates and one interior gate. Cattle Corral Park has an existing 30’ x 30’ concrete slab with one basketball standard. This project includes extending, improving, surfacing, and adding a 10’ and a 7’ hoop system to the existing pad. Contractor Responsibility. 1. Obtain all required permits 6. Provided all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the construction of one design/build concrete pickleball court as shown on the park illustration; and improving the existing basketball half-court. 7. Provide all required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the colored/textured surfacing of pickleball court and improving the existing basketball half- court. 8. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the installation of the permanent posts and nets for both courts. 9. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the fencing of the pickleball court. 10. Provide all required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the colored/textured surfacing of sports courts. 8. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for the installation of the permanent posts and basketball hoop system and nets for pickleball and basketball. 9.
