NORTHLAND The New Zealand Where the industry AUCKLAND kiwifruit industry is located Industry snapshot BAY OF PLENTY The kiwifruit industry is one of New Zealand’s horticultural WAIKATO success stories, accounting for over $2.7 billion in export earnings in 2019/20 – the largest horticultural earner and rivalling other key primary produce exports.
