NATURE & WILDLIFE Tourism Products & Experiences Mogo, New South Wales Launched May 2021 Camp with the animals INSERT One year on from the bushfire crisis that devastated the region, IMAGE Mogo Wildlife Park, south of Batemans Bay, is launching a new bespoke attraction for local tourists. Visitors can now embrace the great outdoors and camp overnight at Mogo Wildlife Park, home to Australia’s most diverse collection of exotic wildlife! Mogo Wildlife Perfect for families, couples, singles and groups, the new experience is all-inclusive with tents, beds and meals included, park as well as a group animal encounter on arrival. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of the South Coast and enjoy live country music around a campfire after dinner. The following morning will see guests awaken to the distinctive calls of animals and be fuelled with a breakfast overlooking the park’s Sumatran tigers. Following breakfast with Mogo wildlife park the tigers, guests are invited to explore the park and feed the @mogowildlifepark giraffes. The new exhibition at Canberra’s Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) is opening just in time for World Bee Day on the 20th of May and features a handmade ‘democratic hive’ art installation that uncovers the stories of beekeeping at Australia’s Museum of Parliament Houses, both old and new, and shares what we could learn from bees on collective decision making for Australian democracy. Democracy Australia was one of the first countries in the world to allow beekeeping on Parliament House grounds, and this exhibition uncovers and tells the story through the eyes of William Yates MP who sought permission to keep bees at Old Parliament moadoph House. FOOD & DRINK Tourism Products & Experiences Southern Queensland Country, Queensland Launched May 2021 Degustation at heritage estate wines INSERT Guests at the monthly Five Senses Degustation Dinners at IMAGE Heritage Estate Wines are seated with the winery owners for a delicious seven course meal at a grand oval table, which in itself is a privileged experience given the table’s historic significance - it once seated members of Parliament as the first Queensland Parliamentary Table, circa 1859.
