The super popular ‘32 is a clas- sic for sure, but you harly ever see a 1930. It is an all-steel body with the roof filled and the frame boxed done by Ron Yeager of Ron’s Rods. He did the hood straps also. For motivation, I chose a Chevy 383 Stroker that was built by JB’s Auto Machine Co. One of the fastest and most lethal B-bodies on Earth was the 1963 D-S/A and SS/FA Plymouth “War Wagon”- a 426 Max- Wedge with aluminum front-end from Clifton, New Jersey. This car single handedly was responsible for trailering more Chevies, Fords and even some Mopars, than any other S/S Plymouth around at that time. It truly was a holy terror! Pete Tritak and partner Bill Morgan put together one of the most competitive station wagons ever seen at an NHRA event. So much so, it was an NHRA national class record holder! Club Subscription Help Needed! A Plea Over the years, the Cruise Guide has done our best to get by Dave – bundles of magazines out to various clubs and organizations. Due to recent financial strains on this publication, it would be nice to get some help with the distribution expense. Some clubs already pay for the delivery service, and some run ads that help with the shipping costs, which I appreciate. For 2021, I am asking for a donation to partially pay the shipping costs to your club. There are 6 issues a year. For 25 copies each time please send $75; and for 50 copies send $100 for the complete season. If you purchase ads for your events, we will include the subscription in the ad cost. Please send checks to- TLC Services PO Box 353 Forest Hill, Md. 21050 or contact Dave.
