The Gold Rush Classic “Where the Stars and Guitars Shine“ The Gold Rush Classic is a celebrity pro-am Golf Tournament, Farm to Fork dinner, a Million Dollar Hole in One contest and a concert featuring nationally-recognized music artists that raise money for Jordan’s Guardian Angels and other key children’s charities in Sacramento and beyond. The event will take place October 2nd & 3rd, 2020 in Rancho Murieta, California. October 2nd The Gold Rush Classic Practice Round- Your Gold Rush Experience starts off at 11:00 AM on Friday with a grilled BBQ lunch on the Terrace Lounge and Patio. After lunch you and your partners will team up and play a Practice Round on Rancho Murieta’s Championship North Course (Designed by the King himself- Arnold Palmer). GRC Celebrity DRAFT Party At 5:00 PM GRC Participants and their Special guests will attend the GRC Celebrity DRAFT Party at Rancho Murieta’s Terrace Lounge and Patio. This is where the participants and their team members will select the celebrity that they will play with the next day in the Gold Rush Classic Golf Tournament. $1 Million Hole-in-One At 6:00 PM GRC Participants, Celebrities and Special guests will be entered in a drawing to be selected to take a swing for $1 Million. The event will take place on the 18th Green from 170 yards out. Imagine making a shot that will raise $1 Million for charity! Or imagine being heckled by 100+ players and their guests when your shot doesn’t hit the green. It’s all in the name of fun and charity.
The Gold Rush Classic “Where the Stars and Guitars Shine“ October 3rd The Gold Rush Classic tournament –Your tournament experience starts off at 10:00 AM on Saturday October 3rd. Each golfer in the tournament will play with one of the GRC celebrities. The team will then play for their celebrity’s designated charity. A $10,000 GRC Prize Purse will be split by the Top finishing Celebrities with a share going to each of their choice of children’s charities. A Farm to Fork Dinner - On Saturday night you and your guests will enjoy a fabulous Farm to Fork Dinner created by some of the area’s finest chefs featuring the freshest ingredients from the local valley’s fields and farms. You’ll also be treated to a myriad of great regional wines and delicious hand crafted cocktails. A Concert - “Where the Stars and Guitars Shine” After dinner you’ll walk over to your VIP seat at RMCC’s brand new Amphitheater where Garratt Wilkin and the Parrotheads and special guests will put on a tremendous concert for you to see and dance to. The funds generated from this event will support Jordan’s Guardian Angels, 1St Tee of Sacramento, Gold Rush Charities, Junior Golf and other worthy Children’s charities in Sacramento and beyond.

As a sponsor or participant, your Gold Rush Classic experience starts……. Friday, October 2nd, 2020 when you arrive at 11:00 AM at Rancho Murieta Country Club for a nice BBQ lunch on the Terrace Lounge. After lunch you’ll have a practice round on Rancho Murieta’s famed championship North Golf Course designed by the King Himself - Arnold Palmer. At the end of your round (5:00 PM est.) you’ll go back to the Murieta Country Club’s Terrace Patio overlooking the beautiful Cosumnes River and have cocktails and appetizers for the GRC Draft Party. This is where you’ll draft the celebrity you’ll be playing with the next day. During the Draft Party at around 6:00 PM we will select 12-14 sponsors and VIP guests to take a chance and swing from 167 yards for a $1 million Hole in One Contest for charity. Imagine making a 167 yard shot on the 18th Hole in front of Murieta and all your friends and winning a $1 Million for charity! The next morning, Saturday, October 3rd, you and your teammates will meet at the driving range at 10:00 AM. This is where you’ll meet your celebrity golf partner who you’ll be playing with that day. Each team will be competing for their Celebrity’s charity. The top finishing teams’ charities will get a share of the $10,000 Gold Rush Classic Charity Prize pool. While you’re on the range you’ll be hosted to Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Rancho Murieta’s famous breakfast burritos. At 11:30 AM, we will have a shotgun start on Rancho Murieta’s famed tournament North course. At the end of your round you’ll go back to the Murieta Country Club patio for cocktails, appetizers and the Awards Party. We want to make sure that you have a fun and enjoyable experience so while you’re on the course every third hole will have food, a specialty drink or beverage cart and finally every third hole will feature a fun, ancillary golf game for you to participate in. At 6:00 PM you and your guests will enjoy a fabulous Farm to Fork Dinner created by the area’s finest chefs featuring the freshest ingredients from our local valley’s fields and farms. You’ll also enjoy some of Northern California’s fabulous wines with dinner. During dinner, you’ll be treated to a quick overview of Jordan‘s Guardian Angels and their life changing efforts. You’ll also have a chance to bid on some awesome auction prizes and fabulous getaways. After dinner, you’ll walk over to your VIP seats where Garratt Wilkin and the Parrottheads and a Special Guest will put on an awesome performance at RMCC’s tremendous new concert Amphitheater. You’ll be able to see the artists up close and enjoy a great show. Then you’ll truly understand that this is “Where the Stars and Guitars Shine” for charity.
