From five or six average sized funeral pieces, we create approximately 50 bouquets! In turn, we receive heartfelt notes and phone messages from bouquet recipients who are often moved to tears when they are given a bouquet. Norma at Heatherwood in Tewksbury recently wrote, “Your gift made a gloomy, ordinary day special,” and Rose said, “Thank you for the lovely fresh bouquet. I have not stopped smiling since they arrived.” It is truly amazing when suffering and loss for one family can be transformed into hope and happiness for someone else! We are incredibly grateful to our funeral home partners for the crucial role they play in our organization. When funeral arrangements are discussed with a family, our mission is explained and the option to donate flowers following the services is provided. When a family chooses to donate flowers, the funeral director and staff work directly with us to ensure timely transport of the arrangements to our workshop. A heartfelt THANK YOU to every family that has chosen to donate flowers that would have otherwise been discarded.
