Rock the Street, Wall Street Information
We have an exciting program this year aimed at inspiring young women! Rock The Street, Wall
Street is a financial and investment literacy program designed to spark the interest of a
diverse population of high school girls into careers of finance. The year-long academic
program is facilitated 100% by local female financial professionals, and offers the following 4
components: Financial & Investment Literacy Workshops, a “Wall Street Experience” Field Trip,
Mentoring, and a new Scholarship, Internship, and Job Board. Students learn about savings and
investments through hands-on financial projects. They will also create resumes, build a
LinkedIn profile, and apply business skills to real-world situations. The goal is to create a
society where women are financially literate, independent and equally represented in the field
of finance. Want to learn more on how to join this program? Please contact Mrs. Lee or Mrs.
Dodson in Room # 222 or 270 for more information or visit our website:
www.rockthestreetwallstreet.com.

Gradebook Information
When students miss an assignment, teachers will include one of the following grades in the
gradebook as a placeholder.
1 - This grade means a student is allowed to make up an assignment. Students should work
with teachers to complete this assignment in a timely manner.
0 - Students are not allowed to make up this assignment due to the elapsed time since the due
date.
EX - The student is exempt from the assignment and is not required to make up the
assignment. This grade may appear as a 0 but it does not affect the student's average.

If a parent or student needs login information for Chalkable, he/she may contact the
counselor to have the account reset.
