1st Porto ISU – Sustainable Business Location/Format: Porto, Portugal; on-campus Partner university: Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) – business school Dates: July 5 – July 23, 2021 Participants: advanced bachelor‘s students from WU (max. 20) + advanced bachelor‘s students and master‘s students from UCP and UCP partner universities Fees & included services: 650 € (excl. accommodation) - Course fee (lectures) and course material - WU coordination prior to and during the program - Meals on selected lecture days - Opening and Closing Reception - International Cultural Evening - Foreign travel health insurance
1st Porto ISU – Sustainable Business Academic program: Sustainable Business (sustainable financial systems, concepts of circular economy, legal frameworks around sustainability,…) Lecturers: UCP - Prof. Alexandra Leitão, Prof. João Pinto, Prof. Raquel Campos WU – Prof. Edith Littich, Dr. Stephan Bauer Credits: 8 ECTS for course recognition and/or „IBW international experience“ Credit transfer options confirmed to date: - Cross-Functional Management: Special Topics in Financial Management (PI) - Zukunftsfähiges Wirtschaften II (ZuWi II) - International Course I and/or II (BaWiSo – IBW, possible to combine with other courses) - Free Electives (BaWiSo, BBE) The 1st Porto ISU can be transferred as 2 regular courses at WU worth 8 ECTS credits in total. Please note that the ECTS credits can also be confirmed as part of the “IBW international experience”.
WU mobility grant for the 1st Porto ISU Goal: financial support for WU students who could not otherwise afford to participate in the ISU In 2021: up to 5 grants available for the 1st Porto ISU Amount: coverage of program fee + 300 € travel allowance (Students who receive a grant have to pay a remainder of € 300 themselves) Application requirements: You are a regular, degree-seeking WU student You bring the proof of financial eligibility (proof of receipt of a federal scholarship in the corresponding academic year) Application: Application submission for a grant as part of the ISU application process in March

CUHK Summer Programme Location/Format: online format Partner university: Chinese University of Hong Kong Dates: July Session 2021 – June 28 – August 2 (5 weeks) Academic program: business and finance courses; lecturers from CUHK and CUHK partner universities Participants: 5 WU students Credits: 12 ECTS for course recognition and 8 ECTS for „IBW international experience“; 1 CUHK unit = 2 ECTS credits Application, selection and nomination by Fees & more information: WU; program http://www.summer.cuhk.edu.hk/issjuly/ organization by CUHK

International Business Administration – International Experience Due to the COVID-19 situation, special regulations are currently in place (summer 2020–summer 2021). It is now possible to complete summer programs at WU, and certain online courses taught by partner universities can also be recognized as part of the international experience required for the International Business Administration major (IBW).
