Selection into the Australian Squad The Seniors Australian Squad will be named by Friday 13th December 2019. 1. If more than 64 applications are received taking into account the respective number of bowlers required in each division, the points standings outlined in paragraph 4 of the eligibility requirements will be used to determine the bowlers who have earned the right to represent Australia in 2020. 2. The allocation of bowlers into specific teams will be made based on the bowler’s rankings points accrued from their best 3 (three) finishes from ranked senior’s events between January to June 2020. Should there be a tie on points affecting the placement of bowlers into a team e.g. a tie for 4th and 5th position the bowler with the highest average finishing position will be placed in the higher team. 3. Team placement of ageing in bowlers will be conditional on these athletes competing in 3 ranked senior’s events between January and June 2020. Aging in bowlers need to be 50 years of age prior to the Asian Seniors Championships in 2020. In addition, there is a requirement to complete a nomination form in 2019, indicating their intent. 4. If there are more nominations in the Grand Seniors Division than places available, and there are vacancies in the Seniors Division teams after including ageing in bowlers, those additional Grand Senior bowlers will be placed in the vacant positions in the Seniors teams. (i.e. if there are two vacant positions in the Seniors Men’s team and there are additional Grand Senior men nominees, then those additional nominees will be placed in the team according to their ranking position). 5.
