Life&Legacy LIFE & LEGACY: Year 4 Summary Report W e are pleased to share the following LIFE & LEGACY: Year 4 Summary and Report, which details Ohef Sholom’s successes throughout the program. When we partnered with the Harold Grinspoon and the Tidewater Jewish Foundation at the start of this program, we couldn’t have predicted what a wild success it would be. Together, we created a strong foundation for the future for our Jewish Community. Year 4 Ohef Sholom Highlights: • In 4 years, Ohef Sholom Temple secured 81 new commitments totaling an estimated $3,557,148 in current and future endowed gifts. • Of those 81 commitments, 65 (85% - goal achieved) have been formalized, deferred, or lost. • 8 new commitments were secured in 2020 (goal achieved). • Ohef Sholom Temple has done an exceptional job achieving the annual program goals.
