PRESENTATION OF ORGANIZATION COMMITEE AND RACE Last of the 5 stages of the circuit " INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA XCO SERIES 2019 ", which will compete with the best Italian and international athletes in Olympic sport and queen of the mountain bike. Set at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif, La Thuile has entered the heart of bikers, with single tracks that contain all the characteristics of the perfect riding on the Alps. La Thuile MTB is a project born in 2010 with the expansion and construction of the bike park, maintaining the naturalness of single tracks as a design style. Already in 2014 the boys of the MTB school together with the "Piccolo San Bernardo" cableway and the municipal administration, organized the fourth round of the Enduro World Series, replicating in 2016 (best Enduro Event of the Year at the Pinkbike Awards) and in 2018 . The Mountain Bike season, of course, alternates with the winter ski season and after the great success of the 2016 La Thuile women's alpine skiing world cup organization, it will replicate in 2020 with the white circus. With 2019 LA THUILE MTB will be engaged in the challenge of the last stage of "Internazionali d’Italia Series" and of the UCI junior series with an international level track that will test bikers both physically and technically. LOCATION The highest peaks in Europe have long fascinated the greatest winter sportsmen in history, and our vast ski park has World-Cup-worth snow throughout the skiing season. During the summer the park is transformed into a massive MTB playground and nature trail area. Behold the beauty of the unspoilt mountain and reinvigorate your body and your mind at La Thuile—a proud ancient town in the far west of the Aosta Valley. HOW TO GET IN LA THUILE
- By car:
• From MONTE BIANCO TUNNEL: highway T1 exit “Courmayeur” than SS26 direction Pre
St.Didier then La Thuile.
• From South (Aosta): highway A5 exit “Morgex” and follow “Pre St.Didier” then La Thuile.
ATTENTION: do not follow navigation system information through “COLLE SAN CARLO”; it
is a narrow, steep and twisty road, not recommended for team vehicles and trucks
• From PICCOLO SAN BERNARDO PASS (Petit St.Bernard): follow “Funivie” sign one in La
Thuile

Italian teams has to register their athlets by FCI system “FattoreK” http://fci.ksport.kgroup.eu/fci/

The registration will close on Wednesday 19th June at 24:00 (CET)
All the foreign riders has to show to the commissaires panel the authorisation of their federation
to ride abroad as in the art. 1.02.052 UCI RULES
1.2.052 National, regional and club teams and their respective riders may not start in competitions abroad
unless they hold authorisation in writing issued by their federation (except teams and riders from the same
federation as the event organiser). This authorisation must carry the dates of validity and the name(s) of
the rider(s) concerned.
SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR JUNIOR REGISTRATION:
As the race is classed as UCI JUNIOR SERIES XCI please check the registration criteria on the UCI web

The FCI (Italian Cycling Federation) allow all the italian junior riders to partecipate as TEAM B (no
maximum number) and to wear their own team jersey.

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS The Event Secretary will be available from 10:00 at 18:00 on Friday 21st June, from 08:00 to 18:30 on Saturday 22nd June at the O.C. Head Quarter placed at the Hotel Planibel. Procedures to check licences will take place at H.Q. placed at Hotel Planibel – Fraz. Entreves 158 – La Thuile. For the timing check the official schedule. TEAM MANAGER MEETING A technical meeting with the Event Manager, Marshals’ Coordinator, Commissaires Panel, Team Managers, authorized athletes and off-road representative will be held at 18:30 on Friday 21st June in a meeting room at Hotel Planibel Fraz. Entreves 158 – La Thuile Passes for the designated mechanical support and supply areas will be issued, to the Teams that did no recived its at the previous stages of the Internazionali d’Italia XCO Series (Andora/Nalles/San Marino/Pineto) at secretary during the registration process (considering n.2 passes every 4 athletes). All clubs are required to attend the technical meeting in case there are any changes to the race or event schedule. START/FINISH AREA All the Start/Finish operations will take place close to the start of the “Bosco Express” gondola, close to the paddock and at all the village facilities. The Call up boxes will be placed close to the Start/Finish area and the podium is close to the Finish line. DEPARTURE OPERATIONS See the program for the departure grid placement for all the categories. All the riders are asked to be in the call-up boxes 15 min. before the call-up procedure. The departure grid placements will be carried out according to last published XCO UCI Individual Ranking for the UCI categories and by drawing lots for all the other riders. The leaders of the Internazionali d’Italia XCO series General Classification will need to wear the Leader Jersey and will be call in the first row. ANTI-DOPING The anti-doping station will take place in the Antidoping room at Hotel Planibel – Fraz. Entreves 158 – La Thuile following the DCO instructions. SHOWERS AND BIKE WASHING Showers service are in Frazione Villaret 31 – La Thuile and bike washing service will take place in Loc. TEAM AREAS The teams that would have a space in the team area, are requested to address a mail to sorau@lathuile.net with the space needed (mt x mt), the day and time of the expected arrival and departure from La Thuile. In the calculation of the necessary space, the teams must also take into account the space occupied by transportation, if they want to place in the team rather than in a parking. FEED ZONE Feeding is possible only in Feeding Zone and only by people provided by Passes. The Feeding and Technical area will be confirmed by the PCP at the Team Manager Meeting after the course walk. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE Technical Assistance is only possible with approved personnel in designated areas of which participants will be informed at the technical meeting. Passes for the mechanical and feeding areas will be given to the teams during the riders registration. Those without passes will not be able to use the service and consequently will be excluded from the technical support area in accordance with UCI rules. There will be a “neutral assistance zone” provided by Shimano. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE Medical Services will be provided by at least n. 2 ambulance with 2 auxiliary medical personnel and 1 Race Doctor. Ambulance 1 will be located close to the start/finish line, ambulance 2 will be located on the track following the medical service person in charge. Throughout the event there will be a rescue team (15 peoples from the Soccorso Alpino) available at many points and in full communication for quick recovery. PARKING Refer to logistic map. PRESS The press room will be located at Hotel Planibel – Fraz. Entreves – La Thuile. The Elite riders will be payed by money tranfer and will be asked to fill a form with their bank
references.
