EU is struggling to identify a new list of risk countries as the situation is constantly changing ! Immigration wise Schengen borders remain open. The respective public health authorities define measures regarding quarantine and testing ! Stricter immigration rules within Schengen are always possible on a national level (e.g. Germany with CZ, Tirol, France) 21

Digital health pass. Existing initiatives. • EU Health Pass: Initiative by the EU. Draft legislation as early as March 17. EU Commission responds to pressure from some member states that are threatening to do it alone. Switzerland is in talks with Brussels to be included. The document should prove vaccination, results from a fresh negative test or immunity after a Corona illness. It should make travel possible again, but also easier to visit restaurants or events. Under discussion; releasing travelers from quarantine requirements. • IATA Travel Pass: Developed in four independent modules that can interact with each other: global registry of health requirements, of testing, vaccination centers; lab App; contactless Travel App. Supported by WHO and others 23
Digital health pass. Existing initiatives. ! CommonPass: Part of an umbrella initiative called CommonProject. Based in Zurich, supported by WEF and Star Alliance amongst others • Health Pass: Debuted in May 2020 to provide businesses and consumers with Covid19 immunity credentials. Supported by SGS and UNWTO. • Other initiatives • IBM Health Pass, EU Tourism Manifesto etc. • Important: Not one solution but interoperability between all of them 24
