Huron Blvd. Marysville, MI 48040 Office Hours: Monday– Friday 8:00am– 4:30pm *IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION* Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Registration will NOT be accepted over the phone, by mail or email. Payment must be made upon registration. Checks made payable to City of Marysville. Returned Checks: A check returned for insufficient funds will result in a $50.00 fee being assessed on your account. Participation in current and future programs will be suspended until fee is paid. Refunds: If program is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Participants who cancel classes must notify our department one week prior to the start date of their class to receive full refund. Cancellations: All registrations will be fully refunded should an entire program be cancelled by the recreation department. The Marysville Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient registration or conditions beyond its control. COVID-19 Policy: All City of Marysville Recreation Programs follows current COVID-19 safety guidelines, including but not limited to social distancing measures, limiting participant group siz- es, and the wearing of face masks by participants and staff.

Marysville Park Pavilions There are six pavilions located in Marysville City Park. All pavilions have power. Reservations must be made in person at the Marysville Community Center. Reserve one today for your next gathering! Fee: $40 Resident, $80 Non-Resident (all day rental) Gazebo A perfect place for a wedding ceremony along the beautiful St. Clair River. Reservations must be made in person at the Marysville Community Center. Adult Programs Rockin’ Retirees with Deborah Forster A class for everyone, whether you’ve been exercising or simply want to age in a healthy way. This class will provide cardio, resistance, flexibility, core, and balance training. Every class is self-paced; chairs are provided for those who need them. Join certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor Deborah Forster, for a fun and energetic hour! When: Tuesday and Thursday 9:00am June 16– July 22 Where: Marysville Community Center Cost: $25 for 12 classes or $15 for 6 classes Sit to be Fit A chair exercise class for older adults and anyone needing slow and gentle movements. It is perfect for men and women! Join Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Deborah Forster, as she guides the class in exercise focusing on core strength, flexibility, and balance training. Enjoy the company of others while learning the basics of becoming a healthier you. No need to be intimidated by strange words and difficult poses. Modifications will be shown to accommodate every level including modifica- tions for back/knee pain. This class will allow you to gain confidence without having to worry about not being able to touch your toes! Have you always wanted to try Yoga but didn’t know where to begin? This is your class! Certified Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer Deborah Forster will lead you to success! Visit Marysville City Park to use the newly resurfaced courts. They are for tennis too! Need equipment? Ask us to borrow a pickleball paddle or ball! Equipment will be available during regular hours and during special events on the weekends.
Aquatics All aquatics programs will be at the Marysville High School Pool. Please enter the pool through the doors off the bus loop on Delaware Ave. All COVID-19 guidelines will be fol- lowed. Swim Team The swim team is for boys and girls ages 6-18 years old living in the Marysville School District. All practices are Monday through Thursday with swim meets being held on Friday mornings for all age groups. Swimmers MUST attend at least 2 practices a week to be able to participate in the swim meets. All participants must be able to swim one length of the pool in any stroke and will be tested on the first day. Dates: June 21– July 30 Location: Marysville High School Pool Practice Times: Ages 6-10 1:00-2:00pm Ages 11-18 2:00-3:00pm Cost: $80 Resident /$110 Non-Resident Private Swim Lessons Receive one on one instruction from one of our certified lifeguards. These are offered Monday- Thursday between 8:00am-12:00pm. Call the Recreation Department to set up a private lesson with an instructor. Cost: $15/half hour $75/6 sessions $150/12 sessions Special Needs Swim Lessons These are 20-minute swim lessons that will get special needs children in the pool playing games and learning how to swim. They will be one on one with an instructor. Participants must be toilet trained. Call the Recreation Department to set up the time and instructor. Fee: $50 for 6 weeks 25 ANNUAL “VIKING” SUMMER HOOP CAMP th Boys and Girls 3 grade through 6 grade rd th 7th grade through 10th grade Held @ Marysville High School - Main and Aux Gyms The camp will stress the basic fundamentals and aid in developing a healthy work ethic and positive attitude. The camp will be directed by Erik Schunk – Varsity Boys Coach and Ryan Rathje – Varsity Girls Coach. There will also be other coaches from Marysville’s Basketball staff as well as successful college and high school players helping and offering their expertise. The dates will be the week of June 14 – June 17 (Monday – Thursday). th th We will divide players into appropriate age groups.
