Here is a sneak peek at the current schedule for the Summer Reading Program activities: WEEKLY ACTIVITIES Maker Tuesdays • Tuesday, 11 AM–Noon in June & July • Kids have the opportunity to integrate art with science as they explore different topics, using all five of their senses. LEGO My Library • Wednesdays, 3:30–4:30 PM • Use your imagination to design and build creations with LEGOs. ABC123 Storytime • Thursdays, 11:15–11:45 AM Sunny Days Ahead • Build a great foundation for literacy with stories, rhymes, songs and movement. Storytime in the Park (previously Preschool Story Time) at the Library • Fridays, 11:15 AM–Noon in June & July • Gather with friends at Treehouse Park to read stories, sing songs, play games and do mindfulness exercises. Afterward, have fun playing in the park! SPECIAL EVENTS THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM IS BACK THIS YEAR, Youth Events – Several exciting youth events AND IT’S BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER are planned for this summer so far, including a graffiti art project, a sewing project and pride crafts.
