Suffern Free Library Children’s Department May-August 2022 Welcome to the Suffern Free Library Children’s Department Newsletter. May-August 2022 All children newborn through entering 6th grade who are residents of the Suffern Central School District are welcome to register for the many programs we offer including storytimes, book discussions and summer reading. We will provide the LEGO© bricks Sea Creature Hunt and you provide the inspiration. June 1-June 30 Hunt through the library for 30 sea creatures. Please note you will have to take apart your creations when you leave so the next children can build. Pick up a sheet at the desk and see if you can find them all. Summer Storytimes Storytime registration begins Monday, June 13 and continues until classes are full. You may register using your current Suffern or Sloatsburg library card online (www.suffernfreelibrary.org), over the phone or at the library. For Learning With You & Discovering With You classes, the adult remains with the child(ren), older or younger siblings may remain in the program with you. The child(ren) remain in the room by themselves for Exploring On My Own. Summer Storytime runs from the week of July 4 through the week of August 8.
