Work hard, play hard! • We are interested in providing a first-class education • A good English teacher needs an excellent command of the language and a good teaching competence • Services we provide: Writing Centre, Didaktische Werkstatt Sprachen (A310), Self-access center for learning languages (A 308), tutorials for all introductory courses, remedial courses
Stay abroad • We expect you to go abroad (see MHB) • We think this is absolutely necessary for your professional development • Is the experience of a lifetime • At partner universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia • Teaching practice at schools in Wales and Ireland, funded by the EU /DAAD or as a teaching assistant • Other forms possible • Watch out for the information sessions and for our International Stand (poster in front of A121)!

Basismodul 2 (Secondary/Special Needs) Vertiefungsmodul 1 (Primary) Both modules cover the two following courses: – Introduction to Cultural Studies – Acquisition of English Language and Culture → Oral part of the intermediate exam (Vorprüfung) Remedial courses: help for you to pass the oral part of the exam We are going to have short interviews (10 min. – just to check your present competence level).We are going to be in touch with you about this.
