Improve Your English First Apply to NIC's Language Pathway schools and NIC at the same time and gain guaranteed admission into NIC's academic programs. Upon successful completion of required courses at one of our Language Pathway partners, you can smoothly transition into NIC's academic program. Living and Studying at NIC Tuition, Textbooks and Supplies NIC charges tuition based on credits. As new NIC international students you are required to pay a one-term or two-term tuition deposit before receiving the Letter of Acceptance. Books and other supplies are not included in the tuition deposit and must be paid separately upon or before arrival. Estimated cost of the program can be found online. Many businesses in NIC campus areas hire NIC students regularly. Our provincial minimum wage is $15.20 per hour as of September 2021. Students working full-time in a co-op/internship position may earn up to $10,000 during the scheduled break term. Admission to NIC Once you have chosen your program, determine your eligibility by reviewing the admission requirements outlined for your desired program. Then, simply gather the necessary information and prepare to apply! 1 Choose your program of study Check the available intakes and additional admission requirements. 2 Apply online Go to educationplannerbc.ca to submit your online application along with your supporting documents. 3 Make the tuition payment Our admissions team will assess your documents and send you a Letter of Invitation. Follow the steps in the letter to submit any outstanding documents and make the tuition deposit payment to secure your seat in the program. 4 Apply for study permit Submit your study permit application together with Letter of Acceptance.
