Standard Chartered Great City Race Tuesd a y 17 Ju ly 2 0 18 Welcome to the Standard Chartered Great City Race. We are looking forward to seeing you on the Start Line on Tuesday 17 July. On the evening of the race the roads within the ‘Square Mile’ will be closed to traffic, giving you an excellent opportunity to see some of London’s great landmarks at close quarters – including Tower 42, the Bank of England, Guildhall and St Paul’s Cathedral. The Honourable Artillery Company Ground lawns are the perfect assembly area before and after the race. We hope you and your colleagues will stay on after the event. RACE DAY Getting to the start The start/assembly area is situated at the Honourable Artillery Company Ground, City Road, EC1Y 2BQ. It’s just 500m away from Moorgate Station. There are two main entrances to the site: one on Finsbury Street, just off Chiswell Street, and one on Bunhill Row. Driving to the event is not recommended as parking is restricted and from 18:30 until 20:30 road closures will be in place around the race route.
