Gare St Lazare Ireland’s newest work receives its world premiere performance. The result of
the three-year Artistic Residency here, this production has been made in and for the Everyman.
How It Is (PART 1) will be the company’s 11th Beckett prose work for the stage. Directed and co-
designed by Judy Hegarty Lovett with a creative team of actor Conor Lovett, composer/sound

Our refurbished bar is the perfect place to catch up with family and friends before, during and after
the show. Our new warm and inviting space offers a place of comfort and conversation and is open
every performance night at 7pm.
Did you know that we can take your order for interval drinks before the show?
There is no need to rush at the break and don’t fret if you don’t finish your drink in time for the second
half, our friendly staff can look after it until the show is over.
Don’t forget that we remain open after every performance. Take a seat and you might just meet and
chat to the director, actors and creative teams involved in the show you have just seen - the perfect
ending to your night out.
