Nearby is the ZF Arena Friedrichshafen, a venue for sport events. The ZF Arena 18 is, for example, the venue of the many-time German Volleyball Champion, the VfB Friedrichshafen, both for its games in the Champions League and the 1st German Volleyball League. The Haldenberg chapel in 19 Ailingen was built in 1892. In 1921, the chapel was carefully dismantled in the Reinachmühle and rebuilt on the Haldenberg. The hill, at an altitude of 479 m, is a popular place for excursions. In clear weather, there is a fabulous view over the lake on the Alps. This panoramic view is quite possibly one of the most beautiful in the whole city area. From the Stadtbahnhof (central station), you can reach Ailingen by taking bus lines 13 to 15.
