The 1st ICOMAT was held in Kobe, Japan in 1979 with lots of
Ⅰ participation of the eminent academics in Martensitic Transformation
from various conturies such as USA, Japan, UK, Russia, Germany,
Belgium, France and Australia etc.
It was agreed to hold the 16th ICOMAT in Korea, 2022 by the meeting
Ⅱ of International Advisory Committee at the 15th ICOMAT in Chicago,
USA. The Korean Institute of Metals and Materials became the host of
ICOMAT 2022.
The Martensitic Transformation has played pivotal role in the
ICOMAT
development of high-strength and high-performance materials. It
Ⅲ becomes more significant not only in the field of metallic material
but also in the field of ceramic, polymer composite materials and

biological materials. It is essential to understand the Martensitic
Transformation in developing creative materials.
Martensitic transformation enables to develop high strength
Ⅳ structural materials and high performance multi-functional devices
being sensor, CPU and Actuator at the same time.
It is expected that the ICOMAT 2022 would be an opportunity to
Ⅴ make the industry more renowned worldwide by forming the global
network and interdisciplinary cooperation between academics of
metallic and non-metallic materials.

Free Registration
Depending on sponsorship level, sponsors are given free registration for a specified number of people. Those
registered for free have the same benefits (Admission to all sessions, e-Proceedings, Welcome Reception,
Banquet, Lunch, and Coffee Service) as regular participant.
Advertisement in the Program Book
Sponsors can get an opportunity to display one page color advertisement in the official program book, the page
is determined by priority sponsored category.
On-site marketing for promotion
Sponsors can get an opportunity to maximize promotion effects by exposing sponsor's logo to the participants
as sponsors can put their logo on souvenirs (pen, notepad, conference bag, etc.) provided to ICOMAT 2022
participants, screen in a session room and paper cup provided during coffee breaks.

Make a payment via wire transfer to confirm your application.
After completing payment, please send the receipt to the secretariat for confirmation.
• All transaction fees are borne by the applicant.
• All benefits will go into effect after receiving the application.
Some benefits will not be available if you apply late due to the printing schedule.

11ICOMAT 2022 Exhibition Equipment and General Information Standard Booth Equipment • If the exhibitor requires design changes such as changing the color besides the basic standard booth specifications provided by organizers, exhibitor must request to the specified equipment manufacturers, and costs for additional services shall be paid by the exhibitor separately. •The exhibitor shall be responsible for compensating any damages by painting, nailing, sticking with glue to attach exhibition materials to the standard booth panel. • Exhibitor should apply extra electricity except the basic electricity (1kW) if it needs. • Refund will be given only if a written notification is received including the original receipt of payment by December
31, 2021. All refunds are subject to charge US 400/booth for the processing fees.
• If an applicant withdraws the exhibition after December 31, 2021, for whatever reason, the participation fee paid will
be forfeited.
