The strict border of Kruger National Park is a smaller area, within the national park’s actual borders. Just like American national parks, Kruger can be a very crowded place, with each game sighting drawing a large crowd. Greater Kruger National Park includes the private reserves surrounding the park. Bushtracks prefers to use these private reserves, allowing travelers to enjoy a more intimate experience in nature. The larger the reserve, the better the game viewing. MalaMala Camp MalaMala Camp is located within the MalaMala Game Reserve. This private reserve lies strategically sandwiched between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Wildtuin. The unfenced borders between MalaMala and the Kruger National Park on one side, and the Sabi Sand Wildtuin on the other allow animals to migrate unhindered to the perennial Sand River which flows north to south through MalaMala for 20 kilometers (13 miles). This well preserved wilderness is a “honey-pot” to the most sought-after wildlife species, as well as a host of smaller creatures. MalaMala is part of a conservation gene pool that covers 5.5 million acres of land in the heart of the South African Lowveld. The reserve supports a variety of habitat types; dense riverine forest, acacia-combretum bushveld, open grassland and rocky outcrops, each sustaining different plant and animal species. Drives are varied and full, with a different view around each corner. Due to the rich ecosystem, sightings of the Big Five in the MalaMala Game Reserve reach astronomical proportions. In the 17 years that MalaMala has been providing a luxury safari experience, each of the Big Five have been viewed daily while on
game drives at least 96% of the time. Every aspect of the MalaMala Camp is designed to appreciate and enjoy the view of the surrounding wilds. Pathways wind their way along the perimeter of the camp to reveal individual ochre colored units tucked into the greenery which flanks the Sand River. Massive trees and rolling green lawns are filled with birdsong, with the occasional antelope or elephant passing through to seek the succulence of greenery. The camp is unfenced - an oasis in the middle of the bushveld. MalaMala Camp is a luxury thatched roof safari lodge with seven river view suites, seven waterhole suites, 4 river view luxury rooms and one single room (no single supplement levied). Each room includes a bathroom, 24-hour temperature control, direct dial telephones, mini-bar, mini-safe, bathroom amenities, insect repellent and hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities. Above the falls, the Zambezi has a hypnotic power. It's full of crocs and hippos, and it is a wonderful place to enjoy a traditional African sundowner at sunset on the river.

Set on a hill bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and overlooking unspoiled bush, Stanley Safari Lodge is less than two miles from Victoria Falls. The views are splendid with the spray from the falls in the distance and the mighty Zambezi River rolling past. Chobe Okavango Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour, 20 minutes) Okavango, Botswana The Okavango Delta is a safari icon, and in 2014, it was named to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list for its unique habitat and remarkable wildlife densities. Its landscapes are awe-inspiring: yellow grasslands, pristine papyrus filtered rivers, ivory palm trees standing tall above the savannahs, red sunset skies punctuated by fish eagle cries…and great game viewing. It is a resilient system where drainage basins in Angola capture rain water in the African summer (December to March). But because Botswana is so flat, it takes months for that water to make it down the Okavango River and flood into the Kalahari Desert. The timing is perfect - it brings water to the Kalahari during the dry season (May through October) and becomes a key attraction for wildlife at this time of year. Splash Splash Camp is in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the private Kwara Reserve and offers five activities: walks, game drives, fishing, boat cruises, and mokoro (canoe) rides. The intimate and recently updated camp consists of 12 rooms around a pan which attracts game year round. Rooms are en suite with a flush toilet, double sinks, an indoor and outdoor shower, and a private veranda. The main area has a plunge pool, bar, lounge, and curio shop. The Splash Enclave, a second satellite main area within the camp, is available to groups of 6-10, and includes its own plunge pool, dining area and lounge and bar. When booking the Enclave there is no minimum age restriction, making this a great option for families. Splash Camp is known for consistent sightings of predators and the private concession location means guests can go off-road and on nocturnal drives. Guests 12 years and older may enjoy mokoro (canoe) rides and guided walks. Fishing is available except January- February. Birding is excellent with visits to nearby heronries August - December. Water based activities are seasonal and subject to water levels. Included Accommodation with all meals and beverages, all game viewing activities: game drives, night drives, off-road game viewing, nature walks, fishing, power boating and mokoro trips, outdoor dining, daily laundry, emergency medical evacuation coverage (all guests must have their own travel and health insurance), meet & greet in and out of Maun airport in the private guests lounge if being transferred with Moremi Air Amenities Ensuite Bathrooms, Laundry Included, Local Drinks Included, Pool, Recharge Facilities Available at an Additional Cost Private vehicles, private guides, scenic helicopter tours, curio shop items
