COVID-19 GUIDELINES The team at South West Community Transport is looking forward to resuming our social programs in the coming weeks as the country moves towards reopening. However, the health and wellbeing of our clients and staff, is our highest priority. As such, we will be following the government’s directives regarding social distancing and sanitation. This may mean limited numbers or timeframes will be enforced on certain socials. We are working closely with our vendors to ensure that we can bring you the Socials experience that you know and love, whilst maintaining the highest level of health and safety. Our upcoming bookings have been made in good faith, however as we are working within the constraints of the Government’s Covid- 19 guidelines, some bookings may be postponed or changed at short notice. In this regard, we have tried to book outings which allow a certain level of flexibility. When a social is cancelled or drastically altered, and you have already booked, we will attempt to contact you directly to notify you of changes. Our travel trainer, Sharon is now running low impact
exercise classes for seniors. Easy Moves for Active Aging focus on core exercises
to safely promote flexibility, strength and balance in older adults. These will be
fun days held at our depot where you will do a bit of exercise, then enjoy

our Annual General Meeting.

Cost: $10 includes Transport and Afternoon Tea.SMALL GROUP MYSTERY OUTINGS Join Sharon and Keith on our highly popular Small Group Outings! What is a Small Group Excursion? This is an outing for those interested in travelling on public transport, using your Opal Card, for a day out somewhere! A staff member will accompany a group of up to ten clients and travel on buses, trains and or ferries using your Opal Card. One of our buses will pick you up from home and take you on to a bus or train station where you will be met by one of our Travel Trainers. Then we set off on our trip for the day! Contact the office and register your interest! Check out the dates listed in this calendar marked Small Group Mystery Outing then let us know which dates you are available for. We will contact you with the outing details as places become available. Travel on public transport involved. Opal Card required. We aim to gather groups with the same mobility and suit the trip for each group. How much will this cost? Your initial shuttle to the meeting point will cost you $5. The rest of the transport is at your own cost – you will require an Opal Card! We will discuss costs when confirming your booking. What about lunch? You can bring a packed lunch or you can buy food at any number of stops we make along the way, at your own cost. The choice is yours! How can I determine which outing is on which date?
