DAY #1 –ARRIVAL & WELCOME RECEPTION Arrival Guests are met and greeted at the airport by Account Manager and transfer to hotel by coach and guide. Rest of day at leisure 1900-2200 1900 Welcome Reception – Theme – “Shanghai 30S” - Red/Oriental costume Arrive at the scene. Greeted by smiling hostesses in Cheongsams with your specially concocted “Shanghai” cocktail and a string quartet plays your favourite classics. Canapes are served. Luxurious and exclusive setting. Great view of the Marina Bay 1930 Drum beats and clash of cymbals, a pair of colourful lions dance and greet you. Buffet dinner served by 5 hot stations around the room. DAY #2 –A NOSTALGIC TOUR OF COLONIAL SINGAPORE & SAIL TO THE SOUTHERN ISLANDS 07:00-08:30 Buffet breakfast 09:00-14:00 A 3 Hour journey & trace the footsteps of Raffles 0900 Board a bumboat for a 20-minute leisurely cruise on the Marina Bay, a testament to city planning, advance technology and architecture. Like sailors of yester-year, we then cruise up-river to Clarke Quay and imagine the coolies and swaylos balanced heavy gunny sacks of rice and walked on springy planks, loading and unloading produce to sampans to be loaded on ships berthed at Clifford Pier. Next, like Sir Stamford Raffles did on 29 January 1819, we land at the Raffles Landing Site and imagine a small Malay fishing village that is long gone and rise a vibrant and beautiful city we call Singapore! Stroll through the Colonial District, view its neo-Palladian buildings -the General Post Office (now the Fullerton Hotel). The former Parliament House (now the Art House); the Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall; the Padang, the Singapore Cricket Club, the City Hall & Supreme Court Building (now the National Gallery) and St Andrews Cathedral and continue to Fort Caning Hill, where, Raffles built his residence which became the residence of other Governors. In 1861 a fort was built and during WWII, it was the Far East Command Centre. We make a brief visit to the “Battle Box” 1130 We head to the Raffles Hotel a most graceful landmark and an emblem of legendary style. Relax and have a drink at the palm court before adjourning for lunch at the Sightseeing in the Raffles Civic District to 1400 revisit the historical Return to hotel for a short rest and prepare for an enjoyable sunset cruise sights & buildings of the colonial era
DAY #2 –A NOSTALGIC TOUR OF COLONIAL SINGAPORE & SAIL TO THE SOUTHERN ISLANDS 17:30-23:00 Sunset Cruise on a 4-mastered Clipper & party on a beach on a deserted Island –an unforgettable cruise & party 17:30 After brief rest, we depart for the ferry terminal, board the beautiful and luxurious 4- mastered Clipper, the Royal Albatross (US Registration and built) and set sail into the sunset, hostesses serve you canapes and refreshing drinks. Watch the large vessels docking and unloading containers at the world’s busiest container port as we head for the unpopulated Lazarus Island, one of our 9 islands for our party. 19:00 Upon landing, we head towards the sound of music and decorative lights for your party on the beach… DJ blaring his music, hostesses welcome you with a fresh coconut drink while the grills BBQ your fresh seafood for dinner. After dinner, dance through the night, partake in some trivial games 21:00 We resume our party on board as we head back to the mainland 22:30 Head for your hotel upon arrival at the ferry terminal Menu .. DAY #3 – SINGAPORE’S HERITAGE TOUR, INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES & GALA DINNER 09:00-14:00 CULTURAL HERITAGE TOUR WITH CHINESE LUNCH 09:00 After breakfast we depart on a journey to discover Singapore’s rich & colourful heritage with visits to our ethnic enclaves. Much of the city has changed. Fortunately, remnants of our colourful past remain with many of our old traditions. Guests are seated and orders drinks and a Chinese string orchestra at the stage. 19:00 Dragon dance –Dinner is served Drum beats and clash of cymbals bring in a 20m colourful Dragon to grace your event.
